Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Life Plan/CCRCs

Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.

Skilled Nursing

La Posada Reviews

La Posada has been absolutely wonderful for my mother during her two-week stay in their rehabilitation facility. I cannot say enough about the kindness, compassion, and professionalism of the entire staff. From the warm greeting we receive every morning at the front desk to the exceptional care provided by the nursing team—including Julia, Sharon, Rose, and Linda—the level of attention and dedication has been outstanding. The Physical and Occupational Therapy departments, especially Laura, Leanne, and Nicole, continue to play a vital role in my mother's recovery, and we are incredibly grateful for their expertise and encouragement. We would also like to recognize Senior Nurse Amber and Therapy Director Diane, who have taken the time to conduct comprehensive reviews of my mother's care and ensure that every aspect of her rehabilitation is thoughtfully coordinated. Our entire family deeply appreciates how well my mother has been cared for during her stay. An added bonus is the beautiful campus, which offers opportunities for much-needed outdoor time by the lake and along the scenic walking paths. Although my mother will continue her care at La Posada for a few more weeks, I thought I would write this review to highly recommend La Posada to anyone seeking exceptional rehabilitation care for a loved one at this time. The combination of outstanding medical support, compassionate staff, and beautiful surroundings makes it a truly special place.

My wife and I I are current resident’s at LaPosada. We looked at other similar facilities and found that LaPosada was the best for us. We have been here for almost two years and are very happy with our choice. We have found the resident’s to be very welcoming and friendly. The food is very good, many activities to participate in and a staff that could not be more friendly and helpful. The apartment we have is beautiful, nice size and looks over the water. If you’re thinking about independent living LaPosada is the place to live.

As someone who works closely with seniors and their families during moves and life transitions, I recently had the opportunity to visit La Posada and came away very impressed. The community is beautiful, welcoming, and clearly focused on providing a high-quality experience for its residents. Dannie Josma was wonderful to meet and took the time to share more about the community and the thoughtful approach their team takes in supporting residents and families. You can tell there is a strong culture of care and hospitality throughout the campus. It was a pleasure learning more about La Posada and connecting with their team. I look forward to continuing to build a great partnership in supporting seniors and their families.

The Skilled Nursing facility at La Posada provided consistently excellent care to my family after my mom Claudia stayed there recovering from TWO STROKES over the course of MONTHS. A group of three therapists worked with my mom daily. Physical therapist had incredible patience and encouragement, as mom was too weak to use a walker upon arrival and by end of the stay she was using the walker to cover a distance of 400 feet with little assistance -- Truly a miracle Occupational therapist had a positive outlook whenever she worked with my mom. At the beginning, the stroke completely paralyzed Mom's right arm and legs. Towards the end, mom was able to move the right arm both vertically ( 50% range of motion ) and horizontally ( fully ) ... Everyone in the family witnessed another miracle. Speech Therapy was the most challenging because the stroke affected both the ability to speak and the ability to swallow. Our Speech Therapist was always uplifting my mom every day. In addition to the daily sessions, mom would happily practice her exercises by herself and be ready to show her improvements. At the beginning, Mom's ability to talk were small sentences that would tire her quickly... Too tired to talk in the evening. Our Speech Therapist would not get frustrated by the slow progress, instead she would always be uplifting and happy to see Mom. Towards the end, Mom was carrying full conversations with everyone ( her short term memory was affected by the stroke ). _____________ A team of Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants were great at performing their responsibilities with good mood despite the physically demanding tasks. Towards the end, every nurse and CNA was on a first name basis with Mom and multiple members of my family. We never had to worry about handling insurance paperwork, medical papers, or doctor appointments because they had competent employees who would make life easier for my family. ____________ Daily meals were tasty. Mom would join other patients in the dining room as they all looked forward to their meals, exactly what each had ordered from the menu filled out a week in advance. Our daily routine involved a walk around the outdoors garden every day before lunch. The entire place had employees who were happy to be working there, never in a negative mood. Even the security guards would make our life easier by giving us a special pass that would grant us access for two months at a time.
