Overview
Located in the panhandle of Florida, our senior community has the tranquil feel of a bed and breakfast. We also have a bustling activities program, meaning there is always something to take part in. You’ll instantly feel right at home! There is no shortage of social opportunities at The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek! One resident favorite is playing bingo for Country Store cash. Once a month the residents can use their winnings to shop at the Country Store and purchase items like toiletries and snacks.
You can take advantage of Pensacola’s year-round warm weather by enjoying a glass of iced tea with a friend on our beautiful decks overlooking Carpenter’s Creek or in the landscaped courtyard complete with a gazebo! Our 24-hour team is always available to lend a helping hand. Leave the cooking to us and enjoy three restaurant-style meals each day. Housekeeping and laundry services, newspaper delivery, transportation to medical appointments and an on-site salon are also available. For residents who don’t want to drive, religious services are frequently held in our beautiful on-site chapel. Apartments are equipped with safety features like smoke alarms, sprinkler systems and emergency call buttons. All doors in the community are wide to accommodate our residents with wheelchairs or scooters.

was looking for a place that Dad could relax and not have any worries. this place is truly the best out of all the ones we went to in the area. the residents are happy, the staff are friendly and professional and there is a medical team on standby 12 hours a day. they can help your loved one with bathing and grooming, medication (which includes refills and reminders), there are exercise routines and a fitness trainer to stay active, there's a game room and a dining area if that is more desirable. there's even a chapel. there's always someone to check on you as well if you've been in your room too long lol. I really recommend this place if your loved one can afford it. bonus if they have VA benefits.

Every time I have been in, the staff have been so pleasant. Everyone from Andrea, Nadia, Nicole even the OT/PT therapist and the activity director-they all seem very genuine in what they do :)

Fire on property 1/19/26 no management to be found My uncle is a resident at Waterford, and I am very disappointed with the lack of support on-site today. At 4:22 PM, there was no member of management or staff available to assist us while we were in the process of moving my uncle out of his room due to water damage. This situation is already stressful, and the absence of any assistance only made it more difficult. Additionally, Belfor Property Restoration is currently on-site, and their employees are using resident carts to transport blowers and other equipment. These carts are designated for resident use only. As a result, we were forced to move our loved ones’ heavy personal belongings by hand, which is unacceptable under the circumstances. I believe residents and their families deserve better support, especially during situations involving property damage and relocation. I would appreciate a follow-up regarding this matter and clarification on staffing coverage and vendor guidelines moving forward. And please do something about the filthy carpets and smell of urine throughout the property
