I cannot say enough wonderful things about Tara (Shiantaurah) and the incredible support she provided while helping me complete a Medicaid application for my mother. From the very beginning, Tara was patient, calm and truly accommodating. Navigating a Medicaid application while my mother is in rehab, and potentially transitioning to long-term care, felt overwhelming, but Tara immediately put me at ease. She took the time to walk me through every section of the application step-by-step, ensuring I fully understood what was needed and why. Her knowledge and expertise were evident throughout the entire process. She is clearly well educated in both the technical details of the forms and the broader Medicaid process. It was reassuring to work with someone who not only understands the paperwork, but also has relevant background and practical experience in how the system works. What’s stood out most was her genuine willingness to help. She was more than happy to assist, never rushed the conversation, and made herself available when clarification was needed. Her professionalism combined with her compassion made a stressful situation much more manageable for our family. Tara is an exceptional billing specialist and an invaluable resource to both patients and their families. I am deeply grateful for her guidance and highly recommend her.

My experience with the Waterford was wonderful my father was taken care very well . This is my first time dealing with a family member suffering from a severe stroke … and my father was well dressed bathed and even there own concern (nurses ) for him was a delight to see ppl who actually care about there job . Taurah from the start has been amazing a little weight lift off my shoulders she helped me through every process every step I could and would need to do she showed and helped me through it thank you again for everything!

Both of my parents were at the Waterford and they were very well taken care of beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely attentive, they enjoyed the food and the physical therapist were great at helping them get better. The nurses were very knowledgeable and personable. This gave me peace of mind in a stressful time.

When I needed care after a hospital visit in May 2024 and after surgery in October 2024, the Waterford Medical Center provided premium care! I found the entire staff to be highly trained, professional, friendly and most importantly compassionate. My recovery was greatly helped by the skill and care I received from the PT and OT department. While the Health Center is undergoing a total renovation, wing by wing, it never interfered with the daily life and activities provided for the patients. Wait until you see the attention to detail and beautiful new private and semi-private patient rooms. This is definitely a 5 Star facility!
