Silvercrest is a beautiful, welcoming and safe facility. The staff’s interaction is warm, friendly and helpful. The nurses are skilled and attentive to our mom’s needs. In particular, Nurse Betty extends compassionate care and an empathetic ear to hard situations. She is kind and has a calming presence. She hears and reassures our mom which brings much comfort to her. Nurse Betty’s dedication to her residents is an incredible asset for Silvercrest. We are thankful for Nurse Betty and her exceptional care of our mom!

Took a tour of Silver Crest today with the Lifestyle Community Director. I forget her name. She was very good and the info provided was informative. We are looking for a place for my mom to go after being in acute rehab. This will be the place we choose! Very nice!

This one star rating is being generous. It is sad that this facility has an advertised rating of 4 stars. This rating is NOT appropriate for what little service my mother received or didn't receive while at this facility . The nurses and I used this term loosely blatantly ignored their responsibility of caring for my mother who was wearing a wound vac placed by her surgeon. The nurses on staff knew absolutely nothing of its importance. The wound vac was abruotly removed and it should not have been. The removal created a significant chain of events that has resulted in additional hospitalization and has had a direct bearing on an infection that didn't have to be. I say all this to say the general public has a right to know of the incompetent staff luming the hallways of this facility. So far this is the tip if the iceberg there are other stories that horrified me as the family member that also needs to come to the light How would you feel if your loved one was placed into a room where the call light is not visible to the nurse on duty which is why my mother was yelling out for help longer than what is considered acceptable by anyone. PLEASE TAKE A SECOND AND THIRD LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR LOVED ONE IN THIS FACILITY I am absolutely aware that good nurses DO exist however I failed to see more than one at this facility.
