The Tradition-Buffalo Speedway Reviews

My wife and I have lived at the Tradition Buffalo Speedway for over six years and have enjoyed every day. The facilities are beautiful and the food is excellent. But what really matters to us are the people, both the residents and staff. The residents have been welcoming from day one and we love the opportunity to interact with other residents at meals, happy hours, events, weekly bridge groups (yes, more than one) and a monthly book club. Additionally, the staff is wonderful. From the concierge to the dining room and housekeeping, everyone is helpful and pleasant. And most of the staff know you by name in a very short time. We feel that living here is like having an extended family. It is the best. Dr. George Ferry (retired pediatric gastroenterologist).

The people that work here treat residents like family! They are all very anxious to help you will and you will get all of the personal help you need to solve any problem. There are five residents on a welcome committee that are available also to help you if you need help. One will contact you after you move in. The residents who live here are extremely friendly and you will find new friends quickly. Every day here is a new adventure....some even say it's like living on a cruise ship. Activities are plentiful all the time. I have been living here since March 2024 and I am thrilled that I made my home at Tradition and I am sure you will love it here. Herbert Plost

Just came back for a tour. Because of a mixup in the dates, our guide was unavailable, so the Regional Director of Marketing, Martijn, stepped in, despite his busy schedule. He was wonderful! And the place is amazing. I've visited tons of independent living facilities and this place is head and shoulders above the rest. It is absolutely gorgeous. Very well-maintained and spotless, with ample eating places and lots of cozy nooks and crannies to promote conversation. The rooms were also bigger and nicer than I expected. There is a lot of programming, too. On site is an exercise room and exercise classes, salon and massage, indoor heated pool with aqua-aerobics, theater, meeting rooms, golf room, and more. The residents are diverse and very engaged, and most telling, the residents greeted the staff warmly, which speaks volumes about the service they get there. Can I move in tomorrow?

My husband and I are eagerly and patiently awaiting our transition to The Tradition on Buffalo Speedway in Houston. We have toured the beautiful apartments, dined in the lovely restaurant and met several of the residents. We will be happy to receive a call telling us an apartment is available. We look forward to becoming part of the Tradition family. Judy
