The Summit of Winter Garden

The Summit of Winter Garden has exceeded our expectations in every way. The community is spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with a calm, comforting atmosphere that immediately puts families at ease. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a place where residents are truly respected, supported, and cared for. Before finding The Summit, my parents lived at The Windsor in Celebration for a little over 30 days and at HarborChase Dr. Phillips for less than 35 days. HarborChase not only overcharged them but also sent both of my parents to the hospital three different times during their short stay. During their 30-day residency there, the community had three different Executive Directors, making stability and continuity of care impossible. After those difficult experiences, we were determined to find a place where they would finally be safe, supported, and truly cared for. They have now been at The Summit of Winter Garden for nearly 90 days, and they cannot imagine living anywhere more spectacular. The sales agent, Wendy, is outstanding. She checks on and interacts with all residents and their families, creating genuine connections that make the community feel warm and personal. She goes far beyond the role of a salesperson—she is someone who truly sees and supports every family that walks through the doors. The Executive Director, Edwin, personally interacts with EVERY person in the community. His presence is felt daily. He listens, he solves every concern, and he creates the real magic that makes The Summit feel like home. His leadership sets a tone of compassion, responsiveness, and professionalism that is unmatched. My parents have the absolute best weekly housekeeper. She goes above and beyond to make sure their room sparkles and shines, bringing consistency, warmth, and pride into her work. It has made such a difference in their daily comfort and happiness. The concierge staff is incredible. They help my parents—and everyone else—with any question, request, or concern, always with patience and kindness. They are the heartbeat of the front desk and create a welcoming, reliable point of connection for residents and families. My mom and dad also love the lively social experience at The Summit. They enjoy playing daily Bingo and Left, Right, Center, and they have been warmly welcomed by all of the residents. My mother absolutely loves the arts and crafts room, proudly displaying her creations on her door and throughout her beautiful apartment. My father deeply appreciates the Veterans gatherings and has loved meeting fellow soldiers in his new residence—something that brings him great pride and connection. My mother tells all of our family that this is the best place she has ever lived. My father proudly shares how kind the staff and residents are to him and to my mother. And as their daughter witnessing this peace, safety, and happiness—it is pure joy. After a long search for a community that truly felt right, we can finally say we found something extraordinary. My parents have finally found their real-life fairy tale… and it truly feels like their “happily ever after.” We are deeply grateful for the comfort, safety, and joy The Summit of Winter Garden has brought into our family’s life.

The staff here is wonderful and they have had such an affection for my Mom during her stay there. The medical, culinary and administrative staff are all accessible and very accommodating. Chris and Audrey run the front desk like real champs and have such people skills that the whole experience has been fantastic. My Mom has loved every minute at the Summit thanks to the caring staff.

This brand new Senior Resort can boast of superb surroundings filled with truly caring staff and an exciting mixture of amiable and friendly seniors. Add to that an inventive, compassionate on the scene Chef and you get a never ending parade of tasty, nutritious dishes that charm the palate. Activities are constantly being produced in a wide variety of venues so that literally there is something for everyone. The motto "At Your Service" is always on the lips of the staff and in their actions. Written by resident now living there.

The Summit has been an extraordinary experience. They took such amazing care of my mother-n-law. They took an interest in her from the moment she arrived til she entered into her last days. She also raved about how they took very good care of her.
