Serenades at West Orange

I had the pleasure of touring Serenades Memory Care Assisted Living in Winter Garden today, and the experience was truly wonderful from start to finish. The community is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed, with beautiful resident accommodations that feel comfortable, welcoming, and dignified. It is clear that great care has been taken to create an environment where residents can feel safe, supported, and at home. Our tour with Shar Staples, the Community Relations Director, was a highlight of the visit. Shar was incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about the residents and the work she does. Her kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness stood out immediately, and it was clear that she truly cares about ensuring residents have a high quality of life. What impressed me most was how naturally the team’s approach reflected values that matter deeply to us; compassion, accountability, respect, and ethical care. Every interaction felt sincere and resident-centered, and it was evident that the staff take pride in creating a supportive and positive environment. This is exactly the type of community we would feel confident recommending to our A Place At Home clients who need a higher level of support. Serenades is fortunate to have someone like Shar representing their community, and her dedication and warmth made a lasting impression. I would highly recommend Serenades to anyone seeking a beautiful, caring, and thoughtfully run memory care community for their loved ones.

I can’t speak highly enough about my mom’s time at Serenades. After visiting numerous facilities, walking into the building was so welcoming and a breath of fresh air. From Cindy at the reception desk to the executive team, nurses, caregivers and even the residents, I immediately felt like I finally found a place where my 98 year old mom would feel at home. As well, I felt at home. After being her primary caregiver for several years, it was important that I remained active in her day to day life. My mom and I spent many hours playing cards in the family living room or relaxing in the garden. I joined her for many of the activities and never felt like I was in the way. All of the caregivers treated her with so much compassion and respect and kept me up to date on how she was doing. As for the nurses, Karen and Mona-Lissa were so attentive and continually made sure my mom was receiving all the services and best care possible. I have no words for my gratitude for those angels. And finally, Paris and Shar. Again, I have no words. These two ladies guided me through the process, ensuring that my mom (and I) transitioned easily into her new home. And they stayed by our sides during the most difficult of times. Serenades is a hidden gem and a wonderful home for loved ones.

Absolutely stellar care! I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible attention and compassion my mother received at Serenades West Orange. From the moment she moved in, she was treated with dignity and genuine warmth. The executive staff and care teams went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being, always taking the time to listen to her needs and mine. Beyond the excellent medical care, the emotional support and positive atmosphere truly made a difference in her well being and overall experience. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and felt like a true home away from home. I am so incredibly thankful for the peace of mind knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. This facility truly deserves five stars for their outstanding dedication to their residents.

Serenades West Orange isn’t simply a care facility—it’s a sanctuary of kindness, respect, and hope. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my loved one, and I’m forever grateful for the comfort and care they provide.
