The Solana East Cobb

My father has been at Solana East Cobb for a little over 5 years now. Overall it has been a very good experience. The staff is friendly and responsive. The building is pleasant to be in and there are green spaces outside to enjoy. Everyone knows my dad and tries to engage with him, even though his dementia can make that difficult. The staff is aware of his peculiarities and do their best to accommodate him. No communal living facility is perfect, but Solana East Cobb is working hard to be the best in the area. We are glad that this is where we were able to move Dad when he needed memory care.

Inside, the community is immaculate and thoughtfully designed with cozy common areas. Solana East Cobb doesn't just meet industry standards - they exceed them!

As a care provider familiar with Solana East Cobb, I can confidently say it stands out as one of the premier assisted living communities in the greater Atlanta area. What truly sets the Solana apart is its exceptional team. Executive Director Shevon works tirelessly to ensure residents are well cared for and supported. Resident Care Director Sheila consistently delivers high-quality care, while Memory Care Director Malerie leads a vibrant memory care community, always seeking ways to improve and enhance services. The Sales team, Megan and Mary, not only educate families on how the Solana can support aging in place but also provide helpful resources if it’s not the right fit, a testament to their integrity and commitment to families’ well-being. To further elevate their care, they recently welcomed a new Wellness Director, Tonya, whose role strengthens both staff support and resident care. Impressively, the Solana now has three wellness leaders ...Sheila, Malerie, and Tonya, something very few facilities in the area can claim. Many team members, including those in upper management and on the care team, have been with the community since it opened six years ago — a rare and valuable sign of stability in the senior living sector. In my experience, few assisted living facilities in the area can match the Solana in quality of care, team dedication, cleanliness, and thoughtful design. It’s been a pleasure to get to know this outstanding team.

My stepfather is receiving excellent care at Solana. The staff members are very kind and caring from Portia in housekeeping, the CNAs such as Tee, Wanda the receptionist and all the administrators.
