Well, we are still unpacking boxes and trying to get rid of packing paper. But it was so nice to have people greet us and offer suggestions. The people who live here are really nice and so is the staff. I appreciated having Al, our ambassador, arrange to meet us for lunch and offer to help us whatever way he could. Now there is at least one face in the crowd that we recognize. We are so tired by the end of each day but we are perking up knowing that each day will get better and better! Thanks everyone!

A family member suddenly took a down turn in her cognitive abilities and physical strength. We were looking to find an independent living center for her. We visited the facility and we loved it for its cleanliness and friendly staff. Signed a lease and got her into an independent living unit there. Within two days of moving there, we had to request to an assisted living unit, and change it again to a memory care facility because our needs were changing fast, all this in a span of just one week. The managers there worked with us patiently to help us through this difficult process, and made the moves happen under a tight schedule. We believe our family member is in a caring and safe facility, and we couldn't have done it without the help of their caring staff.

I would give this place zero stars if I could, but google doesn’t allow that. This place has treated my loved one terribly. I am very disappointed in the nurses and the CNA’s that are hired. There is such a poor quality of caregivers at this facility that display vindictive and rude behavior not only to the residents, but to the families as well. This place used to be a great facility, but has fallen so far off the rails that they can’t even hold an executive director. There is absolutely no management going on in this facility and the staff just do whatever they want with no consequences to their poor behavior choices and decisions towards the residents who already in a vulnerable state who can’t even speak up for themselves. The staffs main concern is about working a job where they don’t have to actually put forth effort in their job. When I sent my loved one to this place I expected them to be taken care of with love and respect. Do not send your loved one to live at this facility!

My parents have lived at the memory Care unit for about three years. They have enjoyed it since day one. The nurses, physical therapists and doctors are thorough and attentive. My father's diabetes has been good ever since they moved in. They are consistently kept busy with fun and appropriate activities geared to their needs. They LOVE the musicians and music that's provided on a regular basis. The food is good and they have tasty sugar free desserts for my father. Most of the CNAs are really good. It's not a perfect place. There has been a lot of turnover but the quality has maintained. Our family is very happy that we chose the Sheridan at Green oaks.
