the lady at the check in counter named Jen is BEYOND rude. I visited this building to make a delivery. I planned on making a quick drop off and left my truck parked in front of the entrance. As i enter she meets me at the door and starts demanding i need to go move my truck in a very aggressive manner. There was no other available parking so i asked if they had anyone who could possibly bring the groceries up to the customer and she replies in the same aggressive tone “no you need to go move your truck and do that yourself!” Once i moved the truck i came back and tried to look for the apt i was delivering to and she yells across the lobby at me “ma’am you need to come check in, there’s a whole process here?!” in the same aggressive tone. Once i asked her for her name her tone completely changed and she then started talking to me respectfully and like a adult because she knew why i was asking for her name im sure.

Our experience at The Ridge of Pinehurst has been nothing short of exceptional! My parents moved into Independent Living about 2 years ago and have just moved to the Assisted Living neighborhood. They have been treated as family from the concierge to maintenance staff to sales to guest relations. Special thank yous go out to Austin ( Sales ) , Jessica Balerio ( Move-in Coordinator ) and Steven Hathaway ( Resident Experience Director) for their quick, caring, and professional responses and work ethics! We are lucky to have my parents n such a postive environment.

Sept. 5, 2025 My husband and I could not have been more pleased with our "tour guide" Genevieve and with the entire experience. While we were originally just continuing our research about a possible move (if and when) to a Senior Living development, we were so impressed with everything we saw and heard that now The Ridge Pinehurst is the only one being considered. Because of Genevieve and her informative positive input, we have now gone from the thought pattern of "we'll only make this move when we HAVE to" to the discussion of "why not while we are still healthy and can enjoy the amenities." We are now looking at a time frame of summer 2027 instead of years down the road to make the move. Since we lived in BowMar and belonged to Pinehurst CC for many years. it would be like coming full circle to us!
