I can't say enough how happy I am while moving my 91 yr old mom to this great place. Lead staff went out of there way to assist with any and all inquiries. The maintenance staff made the place feel like 'home' as they hung her photos, paintings, and wall mounted her TV. She maintained a 3 story townhouse on her own after my dad passed and it was just too much maintenance. Now she has 3 full meals a day, snacks n drinks all day and the residents have been welcoming. After being alone for 1.5 years she is enjoying the socializing and company. Very happy with this choice and highly recommend it for anyone considering independent living in a basically all inclusive environment. Heck..me and my BFF may sell our homes and move into a 2br unit.. the place even has a bar and happy hour and the food on daily menu is excellent. Well worth a look. We did have to wait a while for a studio unit but well worth it. Thank you for making this big transition easier

My mom has lived at the Residence at Whitehall in both personal care (assisted living) and independent living. The accommodations are very nice with big apartments and the building is well appointed. The management is attentive. Front Desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The nursing staff up in personal care was tremendous. They plan some really nice special events. Lack of green space is a factor, but they do have a lovely back porch that has a nice sitting area and view. I think they do a very good job looking after my mom. It's clean, safe, and I think a nice place for her to be at this stage in her life.

Wendy in the sales office was fantastic to work with when searching for a the right assisted living for my mother. We had some issues with the rehab facility my mom was at previously but Wendy went there to deal with the issues and meet my mom. Wendy worked well with me on budgets and getting the right fitting placement for her. Once my mom got to TR@W I had not seen her smile so much in the nearly 5 years since my dad passed. Each staff member spent time with her personally to make her feel at home. The other residents were extremely welcoming. Unfortunately she passed after only a month, but it was well worth it.

(see follow up at end) A mixed experience on my recent visit to a resident friend (I traveled cross country). Prior to my visit, my telephone interactions with staff was great. Kudos to Tammy and Maria. At the site, the front desk was helpful but "indifferent". My friends room (nursing section) was just "ok", could have been cleaner and the linens were of low quality and maintenance. The breakfast area was unattended and about 4 residents there were awaiting coffee, breakfast, etc. with no staff for over 20 minutes. I went to the front desk to report the issue an she called "the kitchen". About 10 minutes later another "indifferent" staffer showed and put an unheated plate of eggs/toast/bacon in front of my friend (the plates had been sitting in the prep area covered with plastic wrap for over 30 minutes). I'm investigating alternative living for my friend. This is not a place for "recovery". Owner (see below) reply asked if I would contact them to review further. I did via email asking that they provide a # and contact for me. I have heard nothing more. I have pictures to share with them to provide more context to my review.
