My wife has late stage Alzheimer's. After caring for her at home for five years, I moved her into the Residence at Voorhees last May. It was one of the the best decision I ever made. The staff, especially those in the Memory Care Unit, provide her with a high level care every day. They always take the time to talk to me about her needs. I visit every day and they make me feel welcome and at home. They help the caregivers as much as the residents. The entire facility is well maintaining, with daily cleaning. There are daily activities to keep the mind and body active. My primary goal in finding a facility was would my wife be cared for and safe? At the Residence she is and I sleep soundly knowing that.

My mother has lived here for two years, and our experience has been very positive. The community offers a warm, homey environment that makes residents feel comfortable and welcome. The activities team is outstanding—Larry keeps residents engaged and laughing, and Jeanelle genuinely cares about the residents, thoughtfully tailoring activities to ensure everyone stays active and involved. Thursday live music and happy hour are favorites, along with the Friday exercise class. The front desk staff is consistently kind, and the nursing staff is professional and attentive.

I am in a local band that plays at numerous assisted living facilities in the South Jersey area. While many of these places do a wonderful job of taking care of their residents, The Residence at Voorhees truly stands out. Jeanelle and her amazing staff go all out to get the residents involved when we perform. There is such a positive vibe in the building, and the members of the band have all agreed that it is a direct result of the staff being so dedicated to the residents. Even before and after we play the staff is engaged with the residents. It is such a positive place. The staff is in the room and getting them up to dance the entire time we are playing. No one is left out. This makes an unbelievable difference in the mood and atmosphere. The residents are having a blast when we perform there, and we have to give credit to the dedicated staff. Jeanelle, Larry, Jen, Tanya, Drea, Janet, and so many others are outstanding, dedicated professionals. The residents clearly love being there and there is a feeling of it being one large, happy family with the staff leading the charge. These guys do it right!!

Had a wonderful visit at the community. Our Executive Director and her team are friendly and accommodating. The front desk is welcoming the minute you walk in. It is always a pleasure to visit. The associates care so much for residents. You can see it in every interactions. Always brings a smile to my face.
