The Regent is by far the best Senior Living Center I have ever experienced. The public areas are immaculate . The dining area is bright and well laid out. Their menu has many great choices. I was extremely surprised with the quality. If it was a restaurant it would be packed. The one bedroom apartments are great. They get cleaned weekly. I dealt personally with several staff members and found them to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It was an excellent place to live.

My mom lived at The Regent for over three years. Prior to moving into The Regent my mom was a farmer’s wife in Western Iowa and her hometown is less than 300 people. The staff and residents at The Regent made this transition seamless. The intake process was easy, welcoming, and inviting. Upon arrival, my mom was welcome by residents and staff. They immediately made her feel at ease as they visited with her and helped with any questions. The staff at The Regent are phenomenal! They helped at a moment’s notice with anything that we needed. They followed through successfully with any request and did so with kindness and respect. My mom became friends with the staff, no matter what position they served in. They treated Mom as if she were the only person there. The Regent was my mom‘s home and she loved living there. My family and I also loved being at The Regent as it was home for us too. Thank you to all of the staff at The Regent for the positive and outstanding experience that we had when we partnered in serving my mom in her retirement years! Thank you! With Sincere Gratitude, Rod Lenz, Shirley Walde’s son

My mother moved here from KC October of 2023. She has lived at the Regent since and absolutely loves it. Staff is amazing and truly care about my mother. The facility is emasculate and always smells clean and inviting. Many activities are offered. There is nothing to complain about. Recently I moved my mom to assisted living and cried when I gave her notice. Thank you Shiela and all your wonderful staff for watching over my mother, forever grateful. Janet Theoharis

After the sudden death of my father, my disabled mother quickly needed to find a place where she could live independently (with a bit of help from Interim Healthcare services), because staying in their home alone would have been much too difficult & lonely. We toured The Regent with Misty, and were so impressed by the whole facility. It is beautiful, spacious, and set up very thoughtfully for seniors. Every spot is accessible, and there are lots of community areas throughout the building in which to hang out if you don’t want to be cooped up in your apartment all day. There are tons of opportunities for offsite excursions on the shuttle, and also many activities that take place within the building…bingo, arts & crafts, card games, Jeopardy, visits from the Sedgwick County Zoo, dog visits from Love On A Leash (my personal favorite!), and nightly movies in the theater, complete with comfy leather recliners & popcorn! The Regent strives to offer something to everyone, and to keep residents engaged and socializing as much as they’d like. No one will be bored living here, unless they choose to be. The FOOD…simply amazing & delicious! There is a very well rounded menu with so many options. Everything I’ve tried is delicious, and the chef is very accommodating about customizing dishes to your liking or nutritional needs. The lunch/dinner menu changes every 60 days, to keep it interesting and offer people new options. The PEOPLE…also simply amazing!! Above everything else, I am most impressed by the staff at The Regent. From the reception desk, to management, to maintenance, to housekeeping, to the servers in the dining room…every single person is friendly, helpful, courteous, and seems to truly care about the residents. The staff are what make me feel best about our decision to move my mom into The Regent. I live out of state, and am so comforted knowing that there are such friendly & helpful staff at every level of service. It is very much a “one big family’ atmosphere, and you can sense that the employees enjoy working there, and all strive together to make The Regent a warm and caring environment. If you are looking for a place for a parent, or for yourself…I highly recommend looking at The Regent. The rent includes everything but cable, and is pretty reasonable when you think about all that is included. Mom’s life is so much simpler now…no worries about household maintenance, utility bills, property taxes, transportation needs, accessibility issues at home, cooking, cleaning, etc. It is all taken care of now! Her only daily worries now that she’s living there, are deciding what activities she wants to partake in, and what to order off the menu at meals. Her life is easy now, as it should be at 84 years old. She is making friends and her life is much more fulfilling & easier than it would have been if she had tried to stay in her home. I told her it’s like she’s living on a cruise ship that doesn’t go anywhere!
