My husband was a memory care patient at The Peaks for 30 days. He received excellent care from all of the staff. They were attentive to his needs, supportive, the unit had specialized physical features, robust 24/7 supervision and security measures like access controls and wandering prevention systems, and trained staff equipped with dementia-specific skills, training, and certifications to manage the unique needs of residents with cognitive impairments. I highly recommend The Peaks.

My mother is a resident of The Generations memory care unit. She has been very well cared for over a year and a half. I am so grateful for the staff and all that they do to ensure her safety and care! My feeling is that as a family goes through the process of dementia and Alzheimer's, along with various other conditions with their loved one, The Peaks does their best! We have gone through a few different Directors but along the way Hilda has always been there for our family. Long before taking over as Director she began a wonderful and caring relationship with my mom. She is always in touch with my mother’s needs and takes the time to reach out whenever it is needed. I feel that a big part of our success with my mother’s care is being flexible and reactive in conjunction with the caregivers at this facility. We have brought in a 3rd party during a time when our loved one’s care required one on one and overnight care that was more than is expected of the staff. The staff has a very difficult job balancing each resident’s care and the whole of the community daily. Being responsible and respectful that the caregivers cannot neglect others because our needs may change during the course of my mom’s condition is important to recognize. I believe that if you build a strong relationship with all the members of your loved one’s care team you will find that your loved one will receive the proper care for their individual needs. As for daily activities I am constantly amazed at all the wonderful opportunities my mother has to enjoy life with musical groups, crafts, and visits to local restaurants with all the loving staff! I visit often and my mom is always involved with some fun activity. I would highly recommend The Peaks Generations unit for their loved ones care.

My parents moved into The Peaks in January of 2025, so have lived there just over 6 months now. I cannot say enough about the care and support they have received. It has definitely been an adjustment for both of them, but they are both doing well. As their main caregiver, I am so grateful for the support and kindness they are receiving from the staff, which has alleviated a great amount of stress and worry for both me and my family. I believe as with any organization it starts from the top. Tom, the current director has been nothing but helpful, caring, and kind these past 7 months. He has always returned my calls/emails and has quickly worked to resolve any concerns or issues that have arisen. He seems to hire staff with the same kindness and compassion. The activity department is excellent at coming up with all different kinds of daily activities. My parents enjoy listening to music, crafts, cards, games, men's group, ladies group, exercise class, holiday events, and weekly outings. From the lovely front desk staff, nursing, aids, cleaning, bookkeeper, maintenance, dining and kitchen staff-we could not be more pleased with The Peaks. It is a wonderful group of people and my parents and our family are grateful we found them. Ageing and giving up some of your independence is difficult and I am very appreciative to have The Peaks support while helping my parents navigate this time of their life. Holly and Mike Coan

I met with Alexis recently with The Peaks team and her caring, loving demeanor was lovely. She really listens and has a sense of presence that is comforting. Thanks Alexis.
