The Oaks Gracious Retirement Living

I lived at the Oaks for 1 year and 5 months. I moved there because I was a caregiver for someone who had become difficult for me to care for. And while it is an independent living situation, the 3 meals a day took the burden of cooking off my shoulders. I met the loveliest people there. They were friendly and kind. They emphasized Community and everyone there looked out for each other in a respectful and private way. The building itself was beautifully kept, decorated tastefully, clean, and comfortable with many places to sit and read, visit, and play games. The grounds were also well planned with safe places to walk and play with your dog. The prices are more reasonable than others in town, and there are no contracts. Each person is offered a safety pendent, worn around the neck, which can be pushed in case of a fall. It is a great place to live and I highly recommend it.

My husband and I are real estate investors and as of the last year or so we have met many senior folks wishing to down size. We have been visiting approx 3 senior facilities per week for a month now. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour at The Oaks! It's so beautiful, inside and out! The courtyard area is gorgeous and we loved the landscaping and the huge oak trees. They light up at night. Very impressive! We love the fact that it's an all-inclusive inclusive community and also that it's month to month. After we toured, they invited us to stay for a meal. The food was incredible! I highly recommend The Oaks!

As someone who recently had the pleasure of cleaning the windows for their residents, I can honestly say I've never encountered a community quite like this. Every single resident I spoke with was beaming with happiness and absolutely raved about their home here. What truly sets The Oaks apart is the incredible, palpable care they provide. I witnessed firsthand how the team goes above and beyond to make residents comfortable, even extending to thoughtful gestures like ensuring windows are sparkling clean for their elderly and senior members – a small detail that speaks volumes about their dedication.
