My Mom lives in Memory Care in Oaks at Belmont, and she absolutely loves it there! When I had to make the decision to move her from her long time family home in a different city to the Belmont area, it was a big deal. I was worried about how she would adapt and cope, given her age and cognitive abilities. When she moved into her “new apartment”, she was greeted by residents and staff so warmly. What could have been a really hard move turned into the best experience ever! She is involved in daily activities, has made new friends, and this experience has given her the socialization she was no longer getting living in her own home. I can’t say enough good about the staff who care for her. They are beautiful people, caring, and knowledgeable in their field. They have taught me so much as I navigate caring for my Mom. They mean the world to me and to my Mom as well. ❤️

The Oaks at Belmont is a phenomenal facility. My 94 year old mother was fortunate to be admitted there five months ago, and she, along with our family, could not be more pleased. The place is impeccably clean, not even the slightest odor is to be found. It is thoughtfully appointed, with a decor that is classy yet comfortable. The food is outstanding. Residents order their meals from an impressive menu, served by friendly and caring dining staff. Much thought and care is evidently put into the activity programming; interesting classes are offered all day long, to inspire minds and friendships. And there are many special touches, such as a weekly Friday afternoon happy hour, complete with wine & cheese and live music- and families are invited! The RNs and CNAs are exceptionally patient and kind, obviously well vetted for competence as well as personality. And residents aren't made to wait forever when they call for help. We really never expected to find a wonderful place like this for our mother, had we known, we would have moved on it years ago. We will always be grateful to have discovered The Oaks of Belmont!

Great rehab facility, I cannot stress that enough. The staff, nurses and social workers in particular, are very attentive and genuine in their care. Also, they will give you the tools and information you need to make an informed decision.

10/10 do not recommend this facility. We can here hoping to recieve good care and we have been let down. Jamie (rn) should be fired from her position and investigated for the way she speaks to clients family’s. I have been contacted several times the past few days on my guys updates etc while he was down with the noro virus. He has been better the past 2 days. I came up to visit him as he is being discharged I 2 days. I handle all meds etc , am his emergency contact and from day 1 every update regarding him goes through me as he as short term memory. I also do all his meds. When asking for information I have recieved it until today. A large woman Jamie something. Was so extremely disrespectful and condescending and did not care about the concerns that I had for my guy. I was told she couldn’t tell me nothing and it would all be in discharge she proceeded to disrespect me as there was a mentor there with a Spanish accent making her feel big and bad. I escalated this to a social worker and lt her know I need someone to come to room 410. After several time went by my guy decided to use his walker and ger the paper himself. After going to the desk Jamie told him the patient that I had an attitude. How professional. I then was talked to by the social worker and she let me know that she will be doing an investigation. This is the 2nd time I have walked away and turned around to have nurses looking at me and laughing and shaking their heads. Carrie was the 1 st who didn’t seem concerned when I was simply asking for socks for my guy to wear the previous night (3/24) so too was condescending and said can get it. When I could have got them and put them on him. This place has some serious attitude issues and I’m not sure you will find resolve ever. I should have listed to the reviews and took my guy somewhere else. Where people do not mock you. Nurses at that. I hope the investigation is thorough and these girls get a grip. There are crazier people in this world who won’t put up with these kinds of things and repercussions will come. God bless. And Jamie and carrie. Find new jobs.
