The Oaks at Belmont

I was there for a recent special event and it was refreshing to see upper management participate and engage with visitors and residents. The Executive Director knew every single resident and many of the family members by name. She was friendly and personable. She spent time conversing with all of the residents, their family members and helping the staff. My family came here for rehab and was astonished by the amazing staff and leadership. She even brings her dog to visit and the residents love it. She is always smiling and we can tell she truly loves her job and makes a difference. We will definitely recommend The Oaks at Belmont to all of our family and friends!!

My 100 year old grandfather received end of life care here over the summer of 2025. He and our family were treated extremely well and we had much faith in the folks responsible for his care. We were particularly comforted knowing Isabella was often working his wing. She was attentive, helpful, kind, and my grandpa would often smile and joke with her when alert. It made our hearts happy. That other anonymous review that mentions a “Bella” sounds bogus, if that’s who they’re referring to. She only went by Isabella with our family. Anyway, I would recommend The Oaks at Belmont; you’ll have lots of opportunity to engage with kind, hardworking staff that you’re trusting your loved ones with.

Our family has mixed feelings about our experience with this facility. On one hand, the clinical staff were okay. Following a stroke, our family member needed careful attention to transition back toward the next phase of care, and the nursing team consistently provided compassionate, patient-centered care. They made a difficult situation much easier to bear, and we are incredibly grateful for their dedication. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply tarnished by the social work department. During a discharge planning conversation, the social worker made highly inappropriate and insulting remarks, explicitly stating to us that the facility "was not making money" off our family member and pointing out that they came from a HUD-subsidized home. This financial cynicism and bias was not only deeply unprofessional, but it also completely ignored the reality of the situation: our family member was living entirely independently prior to the stroke and was there strictly for short-term rehabilitation to regain that independence. To reduce a patient's recovery and dignity down to a profit margin and housing status is unacceptable. We would recommend this center for the high quality of its nursing staff, but management seriously needs to address the empathy, professionalism, and ethics of its administrative and social work team.

My mother loves it here! The staff is great. Carla is absolutely wonderful. Shes extremly efficient and timely. With Carla being there I know my mom gets cared for like she would at home. All of management is efficient as well. Only issue I came across was a CRCA named Bella she was very rude and rough with my family member. Also laughing about how her boss Lora likes her so much she can do whatever she pleases. All she did was sit at a desk while my familys light was on over an hour. Thank goodness they also staff employess like Carla.
