We couldn’t be happier with the care and compassion provided at this assisted living community. From the moment we walked in, we felt a genuine sense of warmth and professionalism. The staff go above and beyond every day—especially Rachel and Sara, who are truly exceptional. Their kindness, patience, and dedication make a noticeable difference, and it’s clear they genuinely care about the residents as individuals. The facility is clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to feel like home. There are plenty of engaging activities, delicious meals, and opportunities for social connection, which have made such a positive difference in our loved one’s quality of life. Communication with families is excellent, and we always feel informed and reassured. Choosing this community was one of the best decisions we’ve made. We are incredibly grateful for the peace of mind it brings, knowing our loved one is safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. Highly recommended!

Our company recently performed maintenance cleaning at Montera senior living in La Mesa. I was very impressed by the facility and the staff. The residents were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them while we worked. We even had the opportunity to listen to one very talented pianist as we finished our services. As we finished up I was so impressed that I inquired information for my in-laws. I highly recommend looking into Montera for safe and friendly senior living experience .

We moved my mother in law into the Montera just before the holidays. The staff has been amazing and the community is very nice. We were very pleased with her room, it was clean when we moved her stuff in and the maintenance person helped us with her cable and TV set up, which was really important to us. Since she has been living there, the staff has done a great job of keeping her room tidy, we can tell that she is being well taken care of and we greatly appreciate all of their efforts.

The Montera is an exceptional assisted living community. As a hospice nurse who has worked closely with their team for over five years, I’ve seen firsthand how caring and compassionate their staff truly is. From the admin team to the caregivers and maintenance staff, everyone goes above and beyond. They communicate well with families and outside agencies, and their genuine warmth really sets them apart. I highly recommend touring The Montera if you’re considering care for a loved one.
