My 84 year old mother needed additional care after a series of medical adventures. The transition was very challenging for her as, before medical events, she was still a working professor and fiercely independent. The staff were amazing at making her feel comfortable and welcome as were the other residents. The facility is clean and pretty with very pleasant pathways to stroll in the gardens and a large outside seating area for socializing. The food is excellent! I highly recommend The Montera for overall quality of living for people who need a little more help than independent living.

My Mom, the kindest woman on the planet lives at The Montera. She began her stay in the assisted living and was allowed to bring her very large and very sweet dog to live with her there. Last November it became necessary to move Mom to live in the Memory Care area at The Montera. Mom has always and still has a very ‘customer service’ attitude. The staff allows her to believe she is a volunteer worker in the Memory Care Community. She passes out Bingo Cards and helps direct other residents to the dining or community room. This gives Mom a sense of purpose and she is very happy every time I visit. Everyone who works there is friendly, helpful and professional and seems to have the best interests of the residents foremost in their minds and hearts.

My mother has been a resident for two years, and knowing she feels safe and happy brings us so much comfort! She loves the helpful, kind-hearted staff, who always have a cheerful hello for her when they see her! Mom always makes a point of telling me how delicious her food is, especially enjoying the variety of entrees and desserts! We all want our elderly parents to be well cared for and attended to and the Montera is an excellent place for your family members! Not only is the facility well maintained, but you’ll be able to feel the love and care staff members have for the residents!

5 star service, staff here are caring and supportive of all the residents and families. Community events are something for everyone. It’s amazing to find a home for your loved one where they are safe and you can be comfortable with the knowledge that your loved one is in safe hands.
