My friend lives here. It will be a year next month when he was first admitted. I take him out once a week so he can take care of his personal business & do some shopping. I love it here, at Atria Collwood. The staff is phenomenal, housekeeping, nursing assistants, cafeteria/kitchen staff & the activities staff make this place happen. People that work the desk to greet you, all not only professional but very people oriented, sincere friendly people that enjoy what they do here at Atria Collwood. Very good options of food in the cafeteria/dining room, service staff make you feel at home. In fact, the whole staff community make you feel at home. I enjoy my visits w/my friend, I am grateful on the care & service he receives. 🤗💕

We had a tour of Atria Collwood with our Mom this past week and when a place goes above and beyond you just need to brag about them! Immediately we noticed the warm friendly atmosphere, we were invited to stay for lunch . Each meal the resident has the choice of several main courses, which was very important to us, and our meal tasted as good as a home cooked meal. The chef even came out to meet with us. You could tell that the community members were cared for and were thriving socially. We met with the General Director, The Activities Director and were introduced to the Maintenance Director as we were touring. Atrium Collwood is small enough to be cozy but big enough to have all the amenities you need. After looking at three different facilities or final choice was easy. Atria Collwood is where Mom will stay when we need respite care (short term). Mom is excited for her first respite care visit! If Momma is good, everybody's good.❤️

We had such a lovely time at Atria Collwood! Our Balloon Artist from Magical Memories Entertainment was part of a special event there and the whole experience was really great. The space is warm and welcoming, and the residents were an absolute joy to entertain. The staff at Atria were amazing, super organized, friendly, and genuinely caring. They helped us get everything set up and were right there making sure the residents were engaged and having a good time. You can tell they really love what they do and work hard to make each event special. What really stood out to us was how well the team helped create a fun, festive vibe. Their attention to detail and positive energy made it easy for us to do our job and bring smiles to everyone. It felt more like a family gathering than a formal event, and we love that. Can’t wait to come back!

This was one of the places I strongly considered, but when I stopped by recently, I was shocked. It was a sad site. I remember it being lush and private community, but someone in the management made a decision to chop all beautiful mature trees and turn it into a parking lot with a sad stump of a tree in the middle. It destroyed the privacy and exposing residents to the noise and a view of a busy street. Who in their right mind would cut down multiple healthy 40-year-old pines that did not pose any threat or harm as they were far away from any buildings or wires?! Why?! These trees could have lived for 500 years, but someone robbed the community of their evergreen beauty and so many other benefits that mature trees provide. If the management makes such terrible and careless decisions with no appreciation for natural beauty or life how could I ever trust them to care for someone I love. I turned around and left…completely disappointed.
