My Parents moved to the Lakes at Litchfield cottages in 2020 from the Heritage. Immediately my mom got involved in activities at the Lakes unfortunately her health took a turn and she received excellent care in the Lakes Rehab and eventually entered Hospice. My Father became active in the Lakes community as well. Holding Car shows with his own vintage cars and getting friends to bring them in. He loved everyone at the Lakes Happy Hour and Restaurant. The Staff at the Lakes are Fantastic. Thanks for Caring for our Parents!!

One of the many reasons I am so happy living at The Lakes is I feel it is the perfect size community for me. It's small enough for me to know most of the residents, and yet, large enough to take care of any of my present or future health needs. And the food is delicious!

My 92 year old mother went to Lakes at Litchfield for rehab and skilled nursing from the hospital after a long hospital stay for many ailments. When she arrived, she was having cognitive issues from multiple UTI's and was immobile from her hip replacement surgery, and combined with her Congestive Heart Failure, she was in bad shape. She is now doing great, thanks to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Worker (Tammy), Activities Director, cooks, and all the other wonderful staff at Lakes at Litchfield. Mom really loved the facility - her room was large and private, the meals in the cafeteria were enjoyable (especially the ice cream), and there were many activities she enjoyed including Bingo, crossword puzzle books, and taking her wheelchair outside for some fresh air. Lake at Litchfield nursed Mom back to health and we could not appreciate their services more.

I have been a resident here at the Villas for about 2 weeks. I feel so safe and cared for, the staff is above excellent. I have been welcomed with open arms from everyone, also invited to have dinner with people who have been here for a while. I have had everyone reach out to me to participate in numerous activities, but sensitive to being new and not pushy. I am happy here and will be as long as I can stay here. Fran Ward
