A Perfect Home for Our Loved One - 10+ Stars! I can't express how grateful we are to have found The Kensington in Reston Va! After touring seven different assisted living facilities, we knew immediately that Kensington was the right choice for my mother. The caregiving is phenomenal, and we’re consistently impressed by how polite and attentive the staff is. They truly go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels valued and respected. The facility itself is immaculate, with beautiful and relaxing decor that creates a warm atmosphere. Our mother enjoys a variety of activities throughout the day, which keeps her engaged and happy. Communication with the staff is excellent, and we receive updates daily, ensuring we stay in the loop about her well-being. I’ve had the opportunity to meet with the staff in a professional capacity — and I’ve been consistently impressed. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been warm, thoughtful, and deeply committed to the well-being of their residents. It’s clear that they create a nurturing environment where residents are not only cared for, but truly valued. As a daughter-in-law helping my mother-in-law make a big life transition, I can honestly say The Kensington Reston has exceeded every expectation. The facility is beautiful, the care is top-notch, and the staff is endlessly kind, patient, and professional. Big family decisions can sometimes come with, shall we say... extra color commentary. But the team at The Kensington has handled everything with compassion and grace, always keeping the focus on what matters: the resident. We’re especially grateful that my mother-in-law now has the chance to be surrounded by people who genuinely care for her and who also encourage her to try new things. At the moment, she’s diving into just about every activity they offer to see what she likes. It’s like sending a very enthusiastic camper off to the world’s nicest adult summer camp...but the food is nothing like summer camp...it's fresh, homemade, healthy and flavorful (as a chef I am pretty picky and I would be happy eating here everyday). We’re sleeping better at night knowing she’s safe, supported, and even having a little fun. Highly, highly recommend.

My father has been a resident of The Kensington- Reston since December of last year. My family and I are so very thankful for the excellent care he is receiving. He is a very low key sweet man that deserves the best care in his later years. He is very happy living at the Kensington- Reston.
