As a Senior Real Estate Specialist, I have a keen eye for not only how a community should look, but more importantly, how it should make you feel. From the lighting and design to the people and overall energy, every detail matters. Having visited many senior communities over the years, I can honestly say THE IVY stands apart. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt a genuine warmth and sense of belonging. The soaring ceilings, open spaces, beautifully designed activity rooms, and welcoming atmosphere immediately caught my attention. But what truly makes THE IVY special are the people. The residents and staff are kind, creative, passionate, and culturally engaged. There is an authenticity here that feels very much reflective of the Berkeley spirit. I have the honor to work with a patient that was staying in Ivy Living. I was always impressed with the outstanding customer service, the care and the professionalism from the staff. From Angeles, the director of the facility to housekeeping. Ivy living knows that care is profoundly important, more than everything. I have in my mind some names from the staff right now but I will find out the name of the other staff members. Angeles, Brenda the nurse director, Sonya and Natasha, the amazing receptionists😍💐 Daniel, Erika from med tech, Jojo, Diana, Habeb, and tne staff from memory care.💐😍👏❤️ I will always have you in my heart. I am here almost a year and am extremely happy.The main point is the staff is extremely friendly and goes extra mile to fulfill my needs. The memory staff took extra care of my wife Chandra and did everything possible to keep her happy.The staff particularly Janki and her assistant knew how to help dementia patients. The other item is that I get Drs visit right here in my room including primary care podiatrist and physical therapist and it avoids me to go place to place for my needs. I will highly recommend this place if any one is looking for a facility for their move.

The best decision I have made in my many years of life was choosing the Ivy to be my new home. I lived at a nearby facility that continuously let me down, eventually I decided it was time for a new change. From day one the team at The Ivy has gone above and beyond to welcome me in to my home. They go above and beyond in providing an exceptional experience. The food is amazing here, the activities recently underwent a change but has been for the better as there is tons to do but actually happening which was an issue at my last facility. I am a Berkeley local and native and this feels like home. This feels like Berkeley.
