After a very difficult experience, I moved my mother to The Inn on Villa Lane following a traumatic incident at another assisted living facility where she had been for less than three weeks. The difference was immediate—and truly felt like night and day. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this team operates with genuine heart and understanding, especially when it comes to caring for someone with Alzheimer’s. They don’t just talk about compassionate care—they live it every day. Amber is outstanding. Her kindness, attentiveness, and leadership set the tone for the entire home. Angie, “T,” and the rest of the team consistently show patience, warmth, and a deep respect for each resident. They take the time to truly understand both the individual and the family, which made all the difference during such a vulnerable time for us. Caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s requires more than routine—it requires empathy, presence, and real connection. That is exactly what we found here. I would highly recommend The Inn on Villa Lane to anyone looking for a place where their elderly loved one will be cared for with dignity, compassion, and genuine human kindness.

I would give the Inn 10 stars if I could! My 91 year old mother in law has lived there for just over a year now. She enjoys a sunny, spacious room with a view, kitchenette and private bath. Housekeeping and laundry service are included. The loving care is beyond our expectations with the caregivers checking in to help several times a day. Medicine techs monitor all medications and dispense carefully. Dorla, Amber and the entire staff could not be more amazing! Chef Franks food is ever changing & always delicious, family is always invited to dine for a small fee. The dining room and living rooms are so welcoming and there are several areas, indoor & out to sit and chat with other residents. There is a posted calendar of all daily activities to join, including exercise & games. Live music is performed several times a week and there are scheduled outings on the Inn bus. The manicured grounds are lovely to stroll, or sit in the sun. Holidays are celebrated with beautiful decor & special events that families are encouraged to join. It’s conveniently located near doctors & the Queen of the Valley. The Inn on Villa Lane is assisted living at its best in Napa!

We moved my father in law here about a month ago and our experience has been great. The team has been responsive, helpful, accommodating, and positive. We made the move rather quickly and Amber was available to deal with all my concerns and questions. The front desk is always juggling several projects and still have time to answer questions and assist. Thanks to Juan who completed the most important task… getting the tv set up and hung on the wall!

The word facility does not do The Inn on Villa Lane justice. The Inn feels like home when you walk in. The staff are incredibly welcoming and quick to jump up and help any way they can. I work for the Alzheimer's Association and have toured many facilities but The Inn has a special place in my heart. I feel incredibly lucky to work with their Director of Community Relations, Amber Cavangaro. She has a true passion for their residents and loves to get the community involved. If my family needed this level of care, Amber is the 1st person I would call.
