The Indigo at Lansing

Staff and caregivers have been great. My mother has expresses how she enjoys the food and activities. Her spirts and activity level has also improved.

I’m leaving this review with mixed feelings. There are some care staff here who are truly amazing—kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the people they care for. They deserve recognition for the compassion and effort they put in every day. Unfortunately, that level of care isn’t consistent. A few staff members are very unprofessional and, at times, disrespectful in how they communicate and handle situations, which creates an uncomfortable environment. What ultimately led me to move my husband out was the lack of support from leadership. The community director was dismissive not only toward me, but also toward another family member and even some employees who had concerns. When multiple people are raising issues and feel ignored, it becomes a serious problem. I made the difficult decision to remove my husband because I no longer felt confident that his care and concerns were being taken seriously. I truly hope management takes accountability and makes meaningful changes, because this community has the potential to be much better with the right leadership in place.

After looking at different communities, when I visited The Indigo of Lansing, I knew I had found the right community for my dad. The community is clean and well decorated for memory care. The staff have been attentive and willing to go the extra mile to make the transition for my dad as painless as possible. I highly recommend The Indigo of Lansing!
