My 95 year old mother has been in Memory Care at The Havens since December. She has received kind and compassionate care from all the staff members. I spent three days sitting around observing interactions of resident with resident and staff with residents. I was impressed with how well the staff members gauged and dealt with each individual resident’s quirky behavior. The facilities are beautiful and always clean. I am very pleased with my mother’s care.

They charge for services they do not provide. They keep charging for care for someone who hasn’t been there for 6 weeks. They charge for every diagnosis even if they do nothing for the diagnosis.

My mother is 90 years old and spent two months in the Havens. When she first moved in we were hopeful for her continued care and well being. Our family is spread out and we all speak to each other weekly about my mother and her progress. My brother is the main source of communications a long with my mother. For the last month of her stay at the Havens I didn’t like what I was hearing. She became angry, even hostile. In less then a months time, my very lucid mother seemed to be acting out like a child. I have been giving information about her care at the Havens and I am shocked at this facilities response! My 90 year old mother was giving 3 days to leave. So many unbelievable things went on at this facility. My biggest issue is they did not follow their own policies! This is a warning to potential customers!! Don’t leave your loved ones at the Havens!

they don’t take care of their workers. they get the residents drunk for thirsty thursday. they don’t care about hard workers. managers favorite thier friends and family over hard workers. managers don’t know how to manage. they care more about rumors than the working conditions. i have tried to contact HR and any manager to voice my concerns. nothing i ended up quitting. not one word from anyone. not even my last pay check was given. i have reported them to ombudsmen and labor bored. They apartments are disgusting mold from the rain. cabinets broken and falling off. floods from bathroom. black mold in the bathrooms. decor is awful. they are taking people money and they don’t care! please do not out you loved ones here they are the worst in the AV i’ve have been doing care for 10 years and this is just a party for the managers. how do you think getting resident drunk is fun? what a joke!!! once licensing comes to investigate bet they will be shut down. UPDATE 12-16-23 3 months ?!?! later Blaine never replied back!!! This place is really bad to work and to send your loved ones please do not send them there.
