As people grow older it is not uncommon for them to need some help and assistance with their lives. Living a continent away, our sons expressed their concerns for us since they would not physically be in a position to help when needed. Thus, we have considered our move into The Hacienda at the Canyon to be “a gift to our children”.” With its beautiful surroundings and caring environment it has given all of us the Peace of Mind we felt we needed.

It is a very nice facility. Our friend is a resident, and we sometimes join her for lunch or dinner either before or after a visit in her unit. She has a beautiful view of the mountains from her patio. There are multiple dining areas in the facility and the food is always very good and beautifully presented. The staff is very friendly.

The Hacienda at the Canyon is one of Tucson's treasures. Set up high in the Catalina Foothills, the location is gorgeous. It is always a pleasure to be there entertaining the residents on the beautiful Steinway piano! Special thanks goes to Amber Isselhard, the Director of Community Life. Great staff , rooms are clean convenient quiet, plenty of outlets for charging, I had an excellent tortilla soup at the restaurant!
