The Hacienda at Georgetown

This place beats all others to shame! It is the very best of the best! So many different activities and fun events. I was shocked at their pricing? Very competitive? Most people think it’s out of their league because of how high end everything is but when you average everything in, they actually beat pricing in some areas? It is a phenomenal assisted living facility. We attended a special event, their (mole and margarita) presentation. It was fabulous! Their head chef’s actually performed and served a full course along with dessert! Unbelievable! You have to go and see this place! My sister and brother in law are moving in in a month and I am thrilled for them!

Last month, I was invited by one of the program coordinators, Katlyn Dady, to bring the Southwestern University Jazz Band there, along with Cheyenne. We performed for their nightcap lounge series, which was welcomed with warmth and open arms. This facility is absolutely amazing, the residents are charming, and they loved the music! We were appreciative of the staff's hospitality and looking forward to a revisit sometime soon! Thank you. All the best here at The Hacienda at Georgetown 😁!

The Watermark for Children fundraiser at Hacienda in Georgetown was a stellar success! With enthusiasm, Katlyn Dady facilitated the event with enthusiasm, professionalism, and genuine care. Fine arts, clever crafts and unique arts from sculpture to stain glass creations are a testament to the enduring talents of the Senior members in our community.

Touchmark at Georgetown has been exceptionally helpful to our family. Mom transitioned from assisted living to memory care over the last year, and I have been amazed how great the staff is here. I have witnessed caregivers going above and beyond expectations many times while visiting, as well as on security camera footage. They have shown genuine concern for my mom and treat her with a loving respect. I think most places will be respectful. The memory care staff at Touchmark go beyond that and comfort by mom, act as a sounding board for her, engage in lengthy conversations, and show patience and kindness toward my mom. They provide her with dignity and as much autonomy as is safe for her. If you have a loved one who needs memory care, I cannot recommend Touchmark at Georgetown highly enough. Their prices may seem high at first, but they don't hit you with "other costs" - you know the total amount you are paying up front. And that cost includes full service. My mom has high needs, and we pay for additional services. It's so worth it. Before getting to Touchmark, my mom would sit alone in her apartment, sometimes staying in bed all day. Here she is greeted cheerily in the morning and invited to breakfast. Most days my mom - who used to sit in bed all day - doesn't return to her room until 2 or 3pm. She is kept busy, engaged in activities or a meal until well after lunch. Later, she will leave her room for dinner around 5pm and doesn't return until 7 or 8pm - again, because she is engaged and interacting with other people. This social interaction is essential for my mom's well-being. Go talk to the memory care staff. Speak with the memory care director Randi Meachum about your loved one's needs. They don't try to "sell you" - they genuinely want to understand your family member's needs and are willing to work with the family to find the best solution. They are willing to address any issues or complaints without being defensive, and approach from a problem-solving perspective. I am convinced my mom could not get better service at any price. At least once a week, I remark to my wife or brother how grateful I am for the staff at Touchmark at Georgetown. Knowing my mom is in good hands and not only getting her needs met, but actually getting social interaction and thriving has provided a tremendous amount of relief for me and my family. Thank you Touchmark!! (update) I forgot to add that the facility is beautiful! There is no "institution vibe" at all. The grounds are pretty and inviting, residents have a gorgeous landscaped patio outside, the furniture is new and well-maintained, even the carpet is nice.
