I moved to the Evergreens at age 70, with no health problems. To me it is a wonderful place to live my senior years. Fellow residents have become like family, as have the caring staff - cleaning, culinary, security, health, administration, and others. After many years of home ownership, I delight in the freedom of renting and the simplicity of apartment life. Entertainment is plentiful and excellent. The grounds are lovely and the structures well-maintained. I feel blessed to be here!

Wonderful atmosphere! Everyone is so friendly and the facilities are beautifully maintained, with cozy common areas, spacious rooms, and lovely outdoor spaces.

It’s been a year since I helped my mom move into her apartment at the Evergreen’s after selling her 2 bedroom home in a 55+ community. To say that it has been life changing for both her and myself would be an understatement. The sales staff was amazing (Faryn couldn’t be more welcoming), the move-in process was flawless, and the staff and her resident ambassador she worked with to help her get her bearings straight were so kind and patient. Everyone that works there is terrific and you feel the happiness of the residents. In my mom’s case she now has the safety of living with 24/7 security/assistance if she has issues any time of day, she has a social group she dines with most evenings and she goes to cultural events with her neighbors like the Philadelphia Symphony every month or so. They constantly bring in musical groups and have weekly happy hours which my mom enjoys. They have so many activities for all different interests, too. For my mom who has lived alone for 25+ years it is has been so good for her to have daily interactions with people. On my end, I get to sleep soundly knowing someone is available if she needs immediate help. Also I was able to travel outside the country last year twice without stressing that she would be all alone (I’m her only family in the area). While she currently lives in independent living, it’s comforting knowing she can make the switch to assisted when it’s time without having too much upheaval. I really can’t say enough about the place and encourage people to take a tour and talk to the sales staff. I always thought it was out of her reach financially, so don’t assume it’s not affordable. They have different apartment sizes for different budgets and different buy-in options. Don’t wait! Check it out! PS: they allow pets so that was a must for my mom as she has a cat.

From our initial contact with the sales staff, through move-in day and beyond, we couldn't have asked for a better experience at The Evergreens. As the child of a resident, I have complete confidence in the facility's security and a great appreciation for the many amenities they provide to ensure that our mother's health, vitality and happiness are a priority for everyone involved in its operations.
