The Crossings at Banta Pointe was recommended to us by the advisors at A Place for Mom, and we could not be happier with the recommendation. We were searching for an independent living community for my brother-in-law that would also provide a seamless transition to assisted living should his needs change in the future. The Crossings at Banta Pointe checked every box and exceeded our expectations. From our very first visit, we felt welcomed and supported. During the initial tour, Ryan Marlatt immediately put my brother-in-law at ease. Making the decision to move into a senior living community can be overwhelming, and my brother-in-law was understandably hesitant and unsure about the process. Ryan demonstrated exceptional patience, compassion, and understanding throughout the tour. He took the time to answer every question, address concerns, and make sure my brother-in-law felt comfortable rather than pressured. His calm and reassuring approach made a tremendous difference. The garden home turned out to be the perfect fit. It offers the privacy and independence of a single-family home while providing the security and support of a larger community when needed. For someone who is still active, may continue working, and values having their own space, it is an ideal arrangement. The home itself is spacious and thoughtfully designed, featuring one bedroom, a den, a bright sunroom, and an attached garage. The corner-lot location provides additional privacy, and the interior was spotless, modern, and well maintained. Beyond the home itself, we were impressed by the overall appearance of the community. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the neighborhood feels safe and inviting, and the nearby dining facilities are conveniently located and easily accessible. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure residents enjoy a comfortable, attractive environment. What truly sets The Crossings at Banta Pointe apart is the people. Ryan is a compassionate, thoughtful, and attentive listener who genuinely cares about residents and their families. He understands that moving to a senior living community is a major life transition and works hard to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for everyone involved. My father was a resident in an independent living cottage at The Crossings at Banta Pointe for more than 5 years and now is in an assisted living apartment. He receives wonderful care from the staff - all of whom are caring professionals. Dad's meals are great & the facility maintenance is top notch. We know he's in very good hands.

We had a wonderful experience touring Banta Pointe with Ryan. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and never rushed us (even staff in the hallways stopped to say hi!). They took the time to answer all our questions honestly and clearly, and it was easy to see how much they care about the residents. The facility was clean, bright, and the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable, like home. We are hoping to bring mom to visit and hopefully move in, after rehab.
