Omisha is a most helpful, warm and friendly staff person who adds a special feeling to this excellent community. I can always count on her assistance when I need it and her warm smile welcomes me and others to our “home” in a very special way. I could continue because there is so much good that she does. However the community is such an excellent place for an older person like myself to live at this point in my life that I could go on and on about all the ways the staff and the other residents are kind and helpful

I’ve proudly called this community home for the past five years—and was actually the third resident to move in when it first opened. Having raised my children in New City, it meant so much to me to watch this beautiful community come to life, and even more to become a part of it from the very beginning. What truly makes this place exceptional is the people. The friendships I’ve built with fellow residents—and with the staff, many of whom have been here since day one—are incredibly meaningful to me. There’s a genuine sense of warmth, connection, and belonging that you feel the moment you walk through the doors. The team here is nothing short of extraordinary. Their compassion, attentiveness, and deep understanding of how to care for seniors set them apart. They don’t just provide care—they create an environment where you feel valued, supported, and truly at home. Caroline and Angelika were so attentive upon my first visit. From the leadership team to the front line staff, you can tell the team truly cares. The community feels warm and welcoming and very clean. I always enjoy my visits to this community. It is a home away from home.

The Chelsea in New City is a beautiful environment especially for older people who have been in New City for many years or who love the land it was built on. Staff were very friendly and I was surprised by some of the activities offered. I would love even a studio apartment there ( for myself).
