Mom has flourished since moving in a month ago. Her studio apartment is lovely and bright. 5 stars for cleanliness . The Bristal is light and bright, the staff is caring and engaged and the dining provided is very good. The activities offered daily appeal to a variety of interests.Mom takes advantage of the religious services offered. Once Mom decided she could no longer stay in her home by herself The Bristal turned out to be the perfect choice for her.

We recently moved my Mother into the Bristal Assisted Living at Mount Sinai, NY & we could not be more impressed. The care is outstanding, and my Mother raves about the food!! She is already involved with the many activities they have such as crafts, singing, Bingo and movies at the cinema (within the Bristal!) The staff are always extremely kind, pleasant, helpful & responsive- from the aides to the people who do the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance. The Care Manager, Nurses and Directors of Community Service work together in a collaborative way to make sure your loved one is cared for and that you, the caregiver / family member are supported as well. A special shout out to Jennifer, Ryan, Carly & Jhalisa!

To: Whom It May Concern Subject: Bristal Assisted Living at Mount Sinai Date: February 20, 2026 A couple years ago, I had reached a point in my life that together with my daughter Marcia and son-in-law Gary, we evaluated what would be best for Dad. I heard from a former neighbor who had moved into the Bristal at Mount Sinai and invited me to pay a visit. After making an appointment & visiting the Mount Sinai facility the first time, the Bristal seemed to overall meet all my needs. The Bristal AL at Mount Sinai’s first impression was extremely clean, well-maintained, friendly, helpful staff and numerous amenities providing all needs and interests of its residents. At this first visit, there was no sales pressure and the Administrative Staff was very thorough covering all aspects of life at the Bristal. I was warmly welcomed when I moved into my apartment and started the new chapter of my life at the Bristal AL at Mount Sinai last March 2025. I especially like the opportunity to participate in my religion with regularly scheduled activities along with the opportunity to join in and choose from many other events and activities. A big factor of any organization/facility is to grow, listen to suggestions and willingness to accept change. This is very evident at the Bristal. Of special personal note was the addition of the game of Bocce to their weekly activities. I had created many years ago an indoor/outdoor portable Bocce court. I discussed the idea of playing Bocce at the Bristal using these court ends to our Program Director. Very willing to listen and see a demonstration, she decided to give it a try. Now Bocce is a regular weekly scheduled activity. The Staff at the Bristal AL at Mount Sinai carefully listen to their residents, willing to try anything to improve the quality of life here and always there to give a “helping hand.” In my 11 months living here, I have met and made many new friends including 2 former students. The Bristal AL at Mount Sinai is first class! I highly recommend the Bristal AL at Mount Sinai without any reservations whatsoever for anyone looking for a top quality facility. Respectfully, Marc Martone

The experience my sister’s and I had with the Bristal was Heart Warming. The care , Love and Dignity she received there was nothing like I’ve ever witnessed anywhere before. This gave my sisters and I comfort to know that we had chosen the best place for our mom to spend her last years. She was truly loved there and she loved everyone. I can not express enough that no matter how sad her passing was we all felt the comfort of knowing we had chosen the right home for our Our mom.
