The Alzheimer’s and dementia unit is severely understaffed and when staffed overnight are locked away in a room far from patients. How do I know? I walked in a 12am to check on my grandparent and all of the staff was on their phone telling jokes in a room far from any patients room. I had walked around an observed all of Lilac Trace twice before being asked “Can I help you?” So the doors of the general home are not secured or locked, and anyone can walk in. Beyond that, they want to shut up these patients by over drugging them. If you’re in the main building simply with physical limitations it seems ok. But neurological diseases or disabilities this place is terrible! Then management wow they will do anything except take any responsibility. I’m glad I’m young enough to be able to eventually witness these people in this situation too. Huge disappointment

Visited my grandparents the other day and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the facilities were. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. My grandparents seem to be very happy with their new home and had nothing but good things to say about their experience so far at the Bridges.

I'm not certain how this place is getting great reviews unless they are all outside of secured Memory Care which is a joke. They are severely understaffed and have aides cooking, cleaning, taking care of residents that are aging in place who have nursing home needs and hospice needs. So the average Memory Care resident gets ignored. Staff are overworked and unsupervised. Director plays games and goes to meetings without changing how to make operations more efficient. Staff is not required to make any daily case notes or weekly case notes on residence and so many balls are dropped daily. It's cruddy smelly dirty would not recommend.

My father was a very independent man and very particular. He identified The Bridges at Bent Creek well in advance of he and my mother becoming residents. During the time he was there before passing, he expressed his contentment with the facility and staff, and I was often able to witness the bond he had with different staff members. I know it gave him great peace to know his wife would be well taken care of after he was gone. Glenn
