Legend at Silver Creek

It may look beautiful but there are ZERO staff around most of the time. I would come to visit often and the very little staff that was there was different every single time. Their turnover rate is incredibly high. My grandmother would be found on the floor after a fall by one of us coming to visit. She was all but being neglected. Not only that, I MYSELF found ANOTHER resident on the floor alone in her room after hearing her yelling. When i told her I would go find a staff she said “good luck.” Please do not bring your loved ones here. We moved her to a new home and the new place has staff around constantly attending to my grandmother and the other residents so don’t lose heart. Good places exist. Do not choose Legend!

When my mother first moved to memory care, there were concerns. Staff was uninterested/unhelpful. When new Director Diane L and head of memory care Sean arrived, every concern was met with genuine concern and promptly addressed. The atmosphere made a complete turn around and we couldn't have been happier. They hired new, caring, attentive staff, my mother was always clean and dressed and loved.Not to leave out others, Chris, who ran the entertainment in memory care spent so much time helping with everything from meals to music. We are very grateful that in the last months of my mothers life, Diane and Sean were there to ensure things were being done properly and most of all with care.

When my Mother turned 100 years old during her stay at Legend, Michelle and her team in Life Enrichment made it a really special occasion. Special Events, which there are MANY of, take on a whole new meaning here thanks to the creativity and effort put into them. Amenities are plentiful and you can participate in anything that interests you. Add that to the simply delicious and welcoming dining experience and you have a “winner”. We did our “homework” prior to selecting Legend, and are so happy with our decision. The transition from home to Legend was seamless, thanks to the marketing team who walked us through it. Legend’s Resident Director is very accessible, and always willing to answer questions- a delight to work with Check it out!

Any time that I can give a big "thumbs up" to Michelle, Stacey, and Zeddie, I am more than happy to. They all do their job both with a high level of professionalism and friendliness. It is so crucial to the care of the residents, and comforting to their loved ones. Providing "peace of mind" is invaluable.
