While we hoped for a nurturing environment, the reality has been far from what we expected. My grandmother has suffered terrible neglect during her time here. Most alarmingly, she has developed multiple bed sores, which are a clear indication that she is not being moved or cared for properly. This could have easily been prevented with the right attention and care from the staff. Instead, she is in immense discomfort, and it's heartbreaking to witness her suffering. To make matters worse, there have been several instances where she has been found soiled, which is absolutely unacceptable for any assisted living facility. It speaks volumes about the lack of attention to basic hygiene and dignity that residents deserve. Perhaps the most shocking incident occurred recently when my grandmother was found on the floor of her room. It’s frightening to think how long she may have been there, and it raises serious concerns about the safety and supervision provided by the staff. This kind of negligence is not just disappointing; it is inexcusable. When we have attempted to voice our concerns to the management, we often feel dismissed or met with vague promises of improvement that never materialize. It has become increasingly clear that the facility is understaffed and overwhelmed, leaving residents like my grandmother vulnerable and without the care they need. I cannot recommend Terra Bella Summerville to anyone looking for a safe and caring environment for their loved ones. We are now actively seeking alternative options to ensure my grandmother receives the quality care she deserves. Please think twice before choosing this facility for your family members.

Review of Terra Bella Summerville Assisted Living I am writing this review out of deep frustration and disappointment with the care my husband's grandmother has received at Terra Bella Summerville. We had high hopes when the family chose this facility, believing it would provide the attentive and compassionate care she deserved in her golden years. Unfortunately, her experience has been nothing short of heartbreaking. Unfortunately it has become painfully clear that the level of care is severely lacking. My husband's grandmother has developed multiple bed sores, which we were told could be prevented with proper attention and regular repositioning. It is unacceptable that she has been allowed to suffer like this, and it raises serious concerns about the staff's training and commitment to their residents' well-being. Additionally, there have been instances where my grandmother was found soiled, indicating a complete disregard for her personal hygiene and dignity. It is alarming to think that someone in a supposed assisted living facility would be left in such a state. This is not merely a failure of service; it is a failure of basic human compassion. Overall, I cannot recommend Terra Bella Summerville.

Terra Bella is a Very Professional and Caring Community! I have had various dealings and contact with the Staff and Management there and have found them Very Involved with the Care of All their Residents. I also found Christy the Executive Director and Wendy the Director of Nursing Very Attentive to the concerns of both the Residents, Staff Members and the Facility as a whole! I am getting to the age of looking at Assisted Living Facilities and I can see this One is at the Top of my List!
