⚠️ WARNING – Terra Bella Memory- Families considering Terra Bella’s memory care facility should be aware of serious concerns. My mother was in this facility for only six weeks, and during that short time her health and independence declined in ways that were alarming and completely avoidable. On my last visit before removing her, I found her sitting in a urine-soaked bed and chair with feces in her adult brief, asking me for help. Staff told me she had “just been changed,” but her condition made it clear that this was not true. No resident—especially in memory care—should ever be left in that state. Before entering Terra Bella, my mother was able to walk with minimal assistance, use the bathroom on her own, and manage most of her hygiene. After six weeks in this facility, she became fully dependent, weak, and unable to perform basic tasks she previously handled daily. We also paid a significant amount of money just to get her admitted, trusting that she would receive safe and consistent care. Instead, we witnessed repeated neglect, dismissive responses to concerns, and a noticeable decline in her overall health. What makes this even more troubling is the complete lack of follow-up from facility leadership. The director, nurse, and administrative director were all notified of our concerns multiple times. Despite being put on notice, none of them followed up or made any meaningful effort to address or correct the issues we raised. Their silence and inaction only reinforced the lack of accountability within the facility. While a supervisor did clean her once I demanded immediate assistance, that isolated moment does not undo the long-standing pattern of inadequate care that led to her decline. I am posting this warning so other families can make informed decisions. In my experience, Terra Bella did not provide the level of care, dignity, accountability, or supervision that memory care residents require and deserve

My uncle was a resident at Terra Bella. My husband and I visited often. The staff members were very attentive and friendly. He was given proper care. What was so important to us was that he was happy and content. He really was. When your love one is in a safe and loving environment, you couldn’t ask for more. I would highly recommend this facility.

Our family member was there and the staff took such good care of her. They answered our questions with confidence and seemed to really cared about our mother. I would recommend your facility to others.

Everyone! PLEASE don’t take your love ones to this facility. This is the worse place I have ever experienced. The memory care area smells so bad it is not a place for your love ones. The price they are asking for is outrageous and the food the service the patients is not even nutrition. They would empty your account in just a few months because of the price. In October the raise the rent 7%. I prayed to god and he showed me a better place, clean and affordable.
