My family member has been in this facility for 18 months & we are very pleased with his care! There are a variety of activities available each day in the community & planned outings to restaurants & shopping expeditions. Periodically there are outdoor cookouts in the courtyard. These foster a sense of community between staff & residents. The life enrichment director is “hands on” & very creative which really engages residents. The facility celebrates the different seasons through décor & activities. The culinary team is very good and the staff are caring & personable. As in most communities, not everything is perfect but I have found the administration to be responsive to problems.

Teal Creek's assisted living and memory care programs boast an outstanding team dedicated to treating each resident like a member of their own family. During my visits, I consistently observe residents looking clean and content, as the staff goes above and beyond to address each individual’s unique memory care requirements with thoughtful strategies. Teal Creek assisted living is one of the best assisted living facilities in Oklahoma City area I have visited. I’m surprised such an Exceptional assisted living facility does exist for my loved one. My family is very picky!! I was surprised to learn they have a really nice memory care unit also. Any time of interacted with the staff, they are caring and genuinely seem concerned about providing care and eager to answer questions. Plus when visiting it is always super clean.

The rude aids in the memory care on the second floor are probably the worst employees I have ever seen in any type of long-term care facility. The keypad outside the memory care door was not working and it seemed like it was quite an inconvenience for the aid to come and let us in. I have been here for three days in a row, and I have heard the staff speaking very disrespectfully to residence and have witnessed many of them just being on their cell phones and not even paying any attention While they were on duty. The ratio that was told to me is there is one aid for every 19 people since there are 38 on the floor and the most I’ve ever seen are two aids on duty. This does not land for all patients safety and needs to be met.
