Would not recommend sending a loved one here. My grandfather had SEVERAL falls, all trips to the hospital. He would fall in his room and for hours, no one would be there to help him. (Yes, we had cameras and would have to call and ask him to get CHECKED ON). Price to pay for negligence? 15k a month. My grandfathers health went downhill so rapidly it was a horror movie. Because we're nearby as a family, we were able to visit him regularly. This place allows residents to sit in urine and fecal matter while they sit and banter at their main desk. They also swapped my grandfather's meds for someone else's, causing him to spiral quickly and lose the sense of language. We placed my grandfather in a new facility now, very regulated meds, and under watchful eye so there are ZERO falls. I mean ZERO! what a DISGRACE this place is. Check your loved ones if they're here. And dont put them here if you can. I promise its a NIGHTMARE on VERNIER STREET.

Working with Mary Jo at Sunrise on Vernier has been a great experience. She truly knows her stuff—experienced, compassionate, and always focused on making sure seniors find the right community. I’ve done multiple tours with families, and Mary Jo goes out of her way to ensure everyone feels safe, informed, and welcomed. She genuinely cares, and it shows in everything she does.

Fabulous community with a caring staff and appealing and well-maintained common areas and apartments! I am really impressed by the thoughtful details behind their assisted living apartments for seniors. Careful consideration is taken to make sure that safely and security is a top priority. I highly recommend a tour to experience for yourself the friendly and professional staff and superior accommodations!
