The staff treated my mom with so much kindess and compassion, which was the most important piece for our family when we moved her to Sunrise of Rockville. The staff made sure the transition went smoothly by fostering friendships with other residents and they made her feel like part of their Sunrise family for the 2 years she was there.

My father lived here for 14 (yikes) years and enjoyed his time in Rockville. He and my mother moved down from Maine in 2010, and he was very happy to be in a facility with lots of people, helpful caregivers, and better food than he would have received at my house. Also, the activities were more tailored to his interests. For a while, he was part of a Sunrise choir, which was fun for him. Eventually, he began to slow down, and the nursing staff, especially Jamah, and the caregivers (too many to name) were very helpful to him. I remember how, during COVID, Jamah came in to make sure that my father ate and drank during our Zoom session. Recently, I heard that Clinton is still at this Sunrise. I'm glad because he is a true problem-solver, especially when my father had some issues.

My wife has been in Assisted Living in Sunrise Rockville for almost two years. Having held executive positions in health care administration, including for seniors, for more than four decades, I am thrilled to publicly recognize this outstanding community. Thanks to the dynamic leadership of its Director, Clinton Thomas, and the extraordinarily caring and compassionate staff in an excellent facility, my wife’s quality of life and our family’s peace of mind have improved significantly as a result of their untiring efforts. We are so deeply grateful!
