Sunrise of Issaquah

Helping your parents move out of their home and into assisted living is an incredibly difficult transition for both them and their family. Choosing Sunrise of Issaquah, however, was the best part of that decision! Our parents lived for three years in Sunrise’s Assisted Living prior to my dad’s passing, and I cannot say enough about how caring and attentive the staff have been. The team is truly exceptional—from Stephanie and Cole at the front desk, to the food service staff, to Anna and Lindsey in activities, and all of the care staff on the floor. Ramilia in Assisted Living and now Leonora on the Terrace level have both been fantastic. During my dad’s final months in hospice care, I cannot imagine better care than what he received from Victoria, Vincent, and the rest of the AL care team. Sunrise of Issaquah is clean, the nursing and med-care staff are efficient and accurate, and the activities are appropriate and engaging. Most importantly, we feel confident that our mom is safe on the Terrace level when we are not able to be with her. The staff genuinely care, are kind, and treat everyone with dignity. I highly recommend Sunrise of Issaquah!

I agree with the review posted by Jamee Weaver. I’m a resident and know her mother well. She is well cared for as am I. I’m in the Assisted Living section with her. I can’t say enough about the care staff. They do their job exceptionally well but, for me, I see how much they truly care for the residents. That is the best feature of Sunrise. The facilities are exceptional, well cared for and functional. Be Sunrise provides physical therapy, hair care, podiatry, and other setvice activities. The activity director is amazing. She takes residents to lunch, dinner, concerts and also provides entertainment as week asa activities in house. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone and have when asked by potential residents touring the facility. Sunrise is great.

I was very impressed with my first tour of Sunrise Issaquah. The look and feel of the facility were wonderful. I am looking for a place for my mom. Cristin gave a very informative tour which led me to schedule a follow up tour and bring my parents in. Finger crossed and Mom and Dad agree this is a good place for Mom.

My mom has been a resident at Sunrise of Issaquah for two years, and our experience has been absolutely fantastic. The staff is truly exceptional — they are caring, attentive, and deeply engaged with every resident. While my mom was initially hesitant to make the move, she quickly settled in and has been genuinely happy ever since. The activities and events are wonderful — thoughtfully planned and always full of energy. It’s clear how much effort goes into keeping everyone active, social, and fulfilled. I love volunteering at events and attending the family gatherings; they’re always welcoming and so well done. The food is consistently great, and it’s wonderful to see how happy and well cared-for all the residents are. I’m so grateful for the peace of mind Sunrise has given our family — it’s truly a warm, caring community that feels like home.
