My mom has been a resident at SummerHouse Ashton Manor since August 2024; she resides in the memory care center. When the time came that my mom needed a higher level of care, I prayed for the best care for my mom. I believe I was praying for SummerHouse Ashton Manor. I believe this place was a God Send! I've visited my mom at different times on different days, and I've always been pleased with the care my mom, and from what I have seen, all of the residents receive at this facility. My experiences have all been positive. The staff are professional and friendly; they're led by Ms. Lisa Wilson, Director. Ms. Wilson's professionalism, communication skills, and transparency convinced me this was the best place for my mom. After 9 months, I can with 100% certainty say the staff are committed, respectful and they geniunely care about the residents; you can see it and you can feel it. I have the utmost respect and appreciation for Ms. Wilson's leadership and the staff; they make it look like fun. I sleep well at night knowing my mom is being well cared for at SummerHouse Ashton Manor, specifically the memory care unit.

Recently visited this beautiful community and loved the feel of this place. Very homelike. In the past, I visited my college roommate’s Mother at this community several years ago. She was in Memory Care in a lovely apartment. The staff was welcoming and so caring with all of the residents we saw. It was clean, and everyone looked well kept and cared for. Her Mom has since passed away, but since then, I have come to know someone personally on their leadership team and have engaged with their staff and I feel like it’s still a great place for seniors. I would definitely recommend.

I had the pleasure of a professional visit recently with Samantha and Stephanie and really enjoyed the tour. This community has such a homey and warm environment …so welcoming. Cozy is a great description! I look forward to my next trip.

My family and I were so hopeful this was going to be a great experience for our dad who was in need to more care than we could provide. We felt he would be taken care of by trained professionals that know how to handle him and his level of care much more than we could. Our hopes quickly faded the first night he was there. He was evaluated and accepted to be housed with others that were able to live mostly independently. He absolutely was not. I think the residents understood his care level better than the staff that evaluated him given the way they looked at him with such pity. I was quite frankly SHOCKED the staff was not properly trained on how to transfer a 6' male that weighed 160 pounds. It was painful to watch them try. We stepped in to help when we saw them struggling and him in pain. Perhaps that is why he was not tended to as his needs required? There were many other much easier residents to tend to. They were kind, but just not qualified.
