We needed to transfer my parents from a nearby nursing home to Storypoint so they could be in the same room (instead of on opposite wings of the other nursing home). Becky Devor has been a huge blessing to our family. She met with us on the weekend, showed us several options, and has made what could’ve been a nightmare to accomplish quite simple. Becky has answered all our questions and has gone above and beyond to help get my parents moved. Not only that, the facility is very nice and clean. I highly recommend Storypoint of West Milton.

Even prior to our move to Randall/StoryPoint, Becky provided very valuable help and information that made our decision must easer. We have counted on her on many occasions to make this transition as smooth as possible. She is very knowledgeable and we are glad to have a wonderful resource to turn to.

StoryPoint West Milton is best suited for seniors who are truly independent and able to manage most aspects of their daily routine without hands-on guidance. The ambience is pleasant, the staff are generally kind, and the activities calendar offers appealing options for residents who can independently track time, read and interpret a daily schedule, and make their way to activities without prompting. Residents who enjoy group exercise, light games, crafts, and social dining—and who can initiate participation on their own—are likely to appreciate the environment. The dining program works well for those who can read a menu, make selections, and communicate their preferences clearly. Assistance is available when requested; however, residents need to recognize when they need help and use their call button to alert staff. Families should carefully evaluate whether their loved one can consistently self-advocate, navigate the building safely, manage time, and follow multi-step routines. Those who require regular cueing, monitoring, or cognitive support may need to explore whether a higher level of care would be more appropriate. As with any assisted living setting, it is important to ask detailed questions about how the community supports residents with memory challenges, mobility limitations, or fluctuating cognition, and to observe firsthand how residents who need extra help are supported throughout the day.

I visited Randall Residence of West Milton today and was amazed at how beautiful, comfortable & inviting the community is. The assisted living apartments were generous in size and very nice. The high ceilings helped give an even more spacious feel. The independent living cottages were even more incredible with vaulted ceilings, hard surfaces countertops and nice appliances! Amazing community spaces too, currently decorated for the holidays! I would be very comfortable living here. And even more importantly we’re the staff and residents. All were incredibly friendly and upbeat! You could tell they love their job & their home. I would highly recommend checking out Randall Residence of West Milton if you’re looking for assisted living for yourself or for a loved one.
