I visited my dear friend Jane at her senior living community recently, and she had been encouraging me to come for a while. There happened to be a concert that day by a young man named Clinton, and I’m so glad I went. The room was packed! Clinton put on an absolutely fantastic performance, his voice was beautiful. At one point, I looked over and saw Jane moved to tears by how touching the experience was. Later, I was amazed to learn that Clinton works there as a director. After the show, I had the chance to chat with him, and he was incredibly kind. The atmosphere he helps create for residents is wonderful. Jane is so happy living there, and I can see why. I can’t wait to return for another concert!

Our mother has been at VAR for over 3 years now and we are beyond happy with the care she has been receiving there. The staff are so patient and caring and treat her like she is family. My family is at the facility A LOT visiting and I can tell you that the recent, negative reviews for VAR are false! It's a shame that a disgruntled employee or employees would write such false statements. This place is beautiful and offers seniors a peaceful, caring environment as well as daily fun activities. Lisa and Lola are wonderful with our mom and you can tell they love all of the residents there. The activity director, Stefanie, is a godsend to those residents as they anxiously await her arrival whenever activities are planned. This place speaks for itself so if you are in need of a care facility like this, go and visit and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Everyone at StoryPoint Union is so friendly. The staff and residents are always smiling, and it feels like such a warm, happy place. I love visiting my aunt. She’s always doing something fun. She even rode a motorcycle recently. I enjoy seeing her pictures on Facebook because she looks truly happy. The care team is amazing. They are kind, compassionate, and really go the extra mile. The building could use a little attention. The tablecloths are stained, and the floors could be cleaner. But overall, the people make it a great place.

Story Point Union has been home to my parents for 3 + years now and I can't say enough great things about this place. They provide a welcoming, warm, caring environment and it has truly become home for them. The facility is beautiful and modern and well maintained. There are exercise classes, art and craft sessions, card and board game activities going on each and every day. There is something for everyone. The extra activities that Clinton and the staff plan are over the top; so creative and fun! They also encourage family of the residents to attend these wonderful events. The kitchen staff are very accommodating and helpful. The young kids that serve food to the residents are super kind and caring and become like family. The Laurus care team of nurses/assistants are responsive, kind and helpful. When my mother had to go to the hospital for an unexpected stay, Brooke and Niki worked very hard to make sure her return to Story Point was seamless and that she had everything she needed to return safely and happily to life there. I can't thank the staff enough for the individualized attention and care my parents received. StoryPoint Union has been a huge blessing to our family. We feel very good about the life my parents are living there! Shannon Aulick
