Care

Assisted Living

A living option for seniors or individuals who require assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, or medication management while maintaining a level of independence. Assisted living facilities offer personalized care plans and social activities that promote quality of life for their residents.

Independent Living

Designed to help older adults who want to maintain an active and independent lifestyle, these communities offer services and amenities that cater to residents’ needs, while encouraging a sense of community and freedom from the responsibilities of owning a home.

Memory Care

Memory care communities offer specialized care and support for individuals dealing with memory-related conditions, such as Alzheimer’s or dementia. These facilities are equipped with trained staff and offer engaging activities designed to promote well-being while ensuring a safe living environment.

Respite Care

Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.

Neighborhood

Pulling from a variety of reliable data sources, Walk Score® measures the walkability of any address, helping you understand how easy it is to live a car-free lifestyle. Transit Score®, when available, measures how well a location is served by public transit. Scores range from 0 to 100, with higher scores indicating more amenities within walking distance and diverse transit options nearby.

I placed my aunt at Story Point in October of 2024, and she was a resident for about 6 months until she died. The staff was very patient with her. She could be cranky and hard to please, but they always took time to see she was looked after, even when she was being difficult. When she became too much to handle in assisted living, we moved her into their memory care unit. She got a lot more stimulation and one on one handling there and was doing much better with all the attention. I am grateful for everything the staff did for her, and for me because I lived so far away.

My mother became a resident after we realized she couldn’t live alone after a very scary incident. Katie was amazing helping guide us through everything and my mother was moved in within a week. The entire staff has been amazing and their kindness to all of the residents is obvious when you walk through the front doors. We finally can rest easy knowing our mother is in good hands! Alyson worked quickly to get Mom into a 1br soon after the chaos of her Alzheimers diagnosis. Storypoint came recommended by the psych facility that preceded mom's move. Close to home, I toured Storypoint and was sold on the modern look, the friendly staff, all the hustle and bustle, and the good cheer residents were in. They have a shuttle, numerous activities like movie nights and socials. Staff are friendly and helpful. The myriad nurses and doctors and physical and speech therapists who attend to residents may not be Storypoint employees directly but they add to the care level and efficiency. While it's been a huge adjustment for mom, she likes it a lot and knows it's a very well-oiled machine!

They promise they will take care of memory care residents until end of life and instead after giving them hundreds of thousands of dollars they tell you your mother is too much work and they evict her 2 weeks before Christmas. Don't fall for thier sales pitch.
