My mother and I live in Houston, but my grandmother lives in NW Indiana. We’ve spent the last 2 years going back and forth trying to help her maintain her independence at home. When she had a bad fall in March, we started looking into senior living and that’s when we met Emily. She was able to make this exhausting process easier than we expected. I thought I was going to have to take FMLA in order to manage all of this, but the staff at StoryPoint went so above and beyond, I was able to finally balance my own life while still helping my grandmother. She has lived at the community for 3 months now and we cannot believe how well she has adjusted! Melisa the Executive Director has been extremely helpful answering all of our questions and helping my grandmother get settled. The Chef even came up to her apartment the day she moved in and asked if he could make her favorite dish for dinner! If that does not say "above and beyond," I don't know what does. All in all, we are so happy with our experience. This facility had a huge impact in making an extremely difficult time in our lives as painless as possible. I urge anyone who is considering seeking senior living for themselves or a loved one to give them a call.

My husband and I were at a restaurant on Tuesday 4/28/26 and I assume it was the activities person who was there with 3 of the residents. I just so enjoyed watching their interactions. She was very engaging with all 3 of the gentlemen. It was wonderful to see. I retired from working in activities and it is wonderful to see someone who genuinely enjoys being with the residents. Whoever you are I just wanted to say good job!! Story point is lucky to have you!

Im currently looking for a community for my mom and i was recommended here by a former staff member, What a beautiful building. New build and still smells like. I went in on a self guided tour. Beautiful layouts. Very high class. Kinda feels like a land cruise for seniors. The place was very active. Residents sitting around having conversations drinking coffee laughing playing games. Speaking with staff and residents was a pleasant experience. Outside of a few similar complaints I've heard at other communities from residents I heard a lot of positive. The staff seems to like working there. Nothing but praise for their department heads. Definitely on the list for mom (if you can look around without a "tour" I recommend it, I don't like to let any marketing people know I'm looking because they just give you the "sell", I prefer speaking to staff and residents without their bosses around. If you like what you hear then schedule a tour)

I toured this beautiful senior living community with my step‑mother, and we were both blown away. The moment we walked in, everything felt warm, clean, and truly cared for. The staff was incredible so kind, patient, and genuine. They made her feel seen and respected, and that meant everything to me. This place left such a comforting impression on us. It’s the kind of environment where you can feel the love and dedication the moment you step inside.
