I don't normally write reviews but felt the need to write this one, for so many reasons. After many years of struggling with the idea of moving Mom into an assisted living home we are so pleased to have found the perfect place for her. She never wanted to move out of her home and it was a constant argument. She has lived at StoryPoint now for 2 years and we can't get her to leave even for a few days and she wants to go back because she misses her friends and the staff. I can't say enough wonderful things about the facility and staff. From the moment she moved in they have treated her with genuine kindness, respect and compassion. EVERY staff member.... from the office staff, front desk, to the activity directors and nurses. She is so happy and content there which means so much to us. It gives our family peace of mind knowing she's in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment. They truly love Mom and take the best care of her. I want to personally thank Dan Jalove for his continual caring, support and understanding of how a facility should be ran. He follows through every situation with grace and thoughtfulness. He goes above and beyond making the residents feel comfortable, valued and always taking the time to listen and engage. For example, last week I was to take my mom on vacation with me but when I picked her up we couldn't find her ID. Unfortunately, I had to leave without her. Dan, Gio and the whole staff continued to search for it after I had left. They did not need to do that but did. Luckily they found it and she was able to go with us. All because they took their time out to continue to help her. THANK YOU GIO! The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to feel like a home rather than an institution. We are always kept well informed with anything relating to Mom. There are plenty of activities, social events and trips that help keep her active, happy and excited to do things. Holidays are exceptional there as so many fun things are planned. Choosing a place for a loved one is never easy, but this facility has exceeded our expectations in every possible way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a caring professional staff, facility and assisted-living community. Thank you again...Dan, Paula, Ajou, Gio and Dina and staff!!! xxx

The rooms are spacious and nice for allowing natural light. The staff is above whatever the top rating system is that you use. My mother was in memory care for nearly 4 years there. We never regretted for one day the choice we made for her. The activities are fun and great for the residents to keep busy. But at the same time, if there needs to be quiet time, they can have that too. All of our interactions from techs and aides to the Executive Director (shout out to Dan) and Director of Connection Points (shout out to Tanna) were top notch. Availability for communication with them was never a problem.

From the moment I walked in the front door I was impressed with Story Point Bolingbrook. Beautiful open and high ceiling foyer with updated modern decor throughout. It feels like luxury living with activities that actually sound very interesting. The two women that gave the tour, Dina and Diamond were by far the most knowledgeable and compassionate people I have met so far at most senior living facilities. They really tried to figure out what would be best for my situation and not just what fits into the typical existing boxes. They gave me hope and for once in a long time I felt my husband would get the care he deserves.

after researching and visiting so many independent/assisted living places for my beloved father, I knew I didn’t have to look any further as soon as I walked through the doors at Atria. my first contact was a phone call with Dina, whom I immediately liked. she was knowledgeable, compassionate and very helpful. and in person, she immediately put me at ease in the entire process … which was an extremely difficult time for me. I immediately felt like we both had the same mission … to place my dad in the best care possible and the best fit for him. The facility is gorgeous! and as soon as you walk in, you feel a sense of vibrancy and life that is sometimes lacking in other facilities that i have toured. it was the perfect vibe for my almost 90 year old dad. I brought him in the very next day for his assessment, and we moved him in four days later - which was the earliest they could get him in. I would’ve left him there that night! that’s how much I love it. I met the director that day, Sandi, and she was equally vivacious, engaged and honestly just fun to be around! The staff is so friendly, generous with their time and energy and so patient. I think that a big part of overall wellness is to be surrounded with positivity and elevated vibrations. no other facility came close to creating an environment for thriving and joyfulness. I also want to mention Joanna at the front desk/reception area and Tanna the activities director. both ladies definitely add to an environment of caring for my dad. after we established the move-in date, they gave us immediate access to the room to get the furniture delivered and the room set up for him. on move-in day, they made such a fuss over him and even had the whole staff come out and give him a toast! 😭🙏🏾🤍 i’m adding that video to Google maps 🫶🏽🙌🏾 i am so grateful to the staff at Atria for helping me find the perfect home for my dad. 🫶🏽🙏🏾♥️🤍
