Five Stars — Truly Outstanding Care The Sterling Aventura is a standout assisted living community. It’s warm, welcoming, and run with genuine heart. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff are attentive, professional, and deeply caring. Mark Monaghan is absolutely phenomenal—a true leader who sets the tone for excellence. He knows every resident by name, which is something you rarely see and speaks volumes about his commitment and compassion. That level of personal attention is what makes The Sterling feel like home. Knowing our loved one is safe, happy, and cared for by people who truly care brings so much peace of mind. We’re incredibly grateful to be part of this special place.

I cannot say enough good things about this assisted living facility! The staff is compassionate, attentive, and truly dedicated to providing exceptional care. Every resident is treated with respect and dignity, and their individual needs are always met with a warm smile. The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming feeling more like a home than a facility. From daily activities to personalized medical care, everything is thoughtfully organized. It's comforting to know our loved ones are in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommended!

I can’t speak highly enough about Daniel, the activities director at The Sterling Aventura! He consistently ensures that residents feel valued, engaged, and cared for. The activities he plans are not only enjoyable and innovative but are also thoughtfully adapted to each resident’s interests and abilities, making a huge difference. Daniel’s warmth, enthusiasm, and energy are truly remarkable, and it’s clear that he puts his heart and soul into everything he does. The seniors always look forward to the programs he arranged, and his unwavering dedication brings so much happiness to the residents. As a volunteer working with Daniel has been amazing and the center is incredibly lucky to have him on their team!

My mother has been living at The Sterling for 6 months and is happy. Daniel (in activities) and Mark (he seems to be everywhere) run a great program. The aides, especially Antonette, are very good. Stacey oversees the nursing/medical needs and it’s easy to see that care is individualized for each resident. It’s currently being remodeled and the refurbished floors and apartments are beautiful.
