The quality of the independence side of St. Paul's has severely decreased in the 2 years my parents have lived there. Watching new administration come and go with empty promises has become the norm. Ignored requests for repairs, lack of transportation, dwindling activities but worst is the food. Constant excuses about the lack of kitchen staff and poor quality of food is ridiculous. Out of coffee, oil for cooking, cheese, fruit, juice...when it’s brought up to the Executive Director it's said the kitchen should never run out. Then go to the grocery store and get what is needed! The residents attend the food forum and air their concerns to no avail. 3 times a day the folks get together for a meal...it should be pleasant and tasty. Not a 45 min wait for a cold bowl of soup.

EDIT: Colleen (business office manager for another property) responded to my inquiry and processed this refund quickly. Thank you to her for her quick response. But St. Paul’s still needs to get it together! For their management/executive team - I bet if you paid your staff (admins and nursing alike) more livable wages, they’d stick around! Food for thought! Original post: I had a great experience with the nursing staff in the Memory Care Unit, but the BUSINESS OFFICE is less than desirable. I have been trying to get a refund since October and have been reaching out for a few weeks now and no one will return my call. Is anyone in charge? If I ran my business this way, I'd be bankrupt!! This is unacceptable. Sweet Helen, who answers the phone, is probably sick of hearing from me - she has done her best to help, but she can only do so much. I feel bad that someone who is directing phone calls is trying to solve financial issues because they don't have the staff equipped to handle it! How difficult is it to return someone's phone call? I've been patient, but this is beyond unprofessional.

St Paul’s is a beautiful campus with a welcoming feel. The staff are clearly dedicated to what they do even in a challenging field. Residents are happy with an overall positive atmosphere. It’s just a solid, good place all around.

I had fun visiting my Aunt, the facility was really nice and clean, and the staff were really helpful. I was happy to know that she's being well taken care of!
