My dad was here for a few weeks and the care was great! No complaints whatsoever! They were really friendly and made him feel at home. I HIGHLY recommend Springhurst if you’re looking for an assisted health facility for your loved ones ❤️

When aid came in to move my mom to wheelchair she checked to see if her depend was wet ( wearing gloves) , which she was then proceeded with the same gloves to remove her oxygen from her nose.. assistant living section is great couldn’t ask for a better place but the nursing home side has a lot to be improve on . This review is mainly for that side .

The staff is super friendly and they have a very welcoming environment when you walk in it’s like you’re walking into a home of sorts. My mother in law seems to really enjoy it there, we’d love to take care of her if we were able but we do go visit as often as we possibly can

Do NOT leave your loved one at this facility! Mom has been there for one week and has been very neglected. They even forgot to bring her lunch one day, and today...11:00 a.m. and only JUST NOW bring her breakfast. They're short-staffed, but continue to take new patients. They can't properly care for those that are there. Mom has sat in her room for HOURS without anyone coming to check on her, nobody taking her to use the restroom, nobody coming in to help her get into bed (as late as 10:30 p.m.!). She didn't even have sheets on her bed on Saturday until I went out of her room and asked them to put sheets on her bed...at 9:30 p.m.! NOT acceptable. Last week on Thursday, they diagnosed some patients with COVID. They didn't close the dining room, stop any activities, nothing! I've not smelled any bleach or lysol...no cleaning or disinfectant at all. Sunday, I noticed mom sounded raspy and stuffy. She wasn't eating and just wanted to sleep all day. Last night, Monday, she sounded worse. I went out to the nurse's station to ask how mom got sick, and they asked me if I wanted to have her tested. DUH! She tested positive! I asked them what their protocol was and they said they'd monitor her to see if her symptoms get worse and would then give her paxlovid. UMMM...NO!! You have to get in front of that to prevent it from getting worse. RIDICULOUS! I insisted they begin medicine immediately so she's starting meds today. If I hadn't been there every day, mom would be sitting in wet Depends all day in a wheel chair without food or fresh water, with COVID getting worse every day. I will be pulling her out ofnthis facility as soon as she no longer has COVID and I'm warning everyone I know so that your loved one isn't at risk!
