This place is terrific. After touring multiple assisted living facilities around the Indianapolis area, my 83-year-old father moved into Bloom at German Church a few months ago. Like most people, I had no idea about assisted living, nursing homes, etc...so I was taking in a lot of information quickly and unexpectedly. Ultimately, I chose Bloom at German Church over other facilities because of the people that work there. I'm glad I did. The entire staff has been extraordinary. The Community Relations Director (Anna), Maintenance person (John), nurses, etc... have all been unbelievably supportive. They do their jobs well and do it with a real sense of caring toward the residents. My dad has enjoyed the food, continues to be impressed by the size of his room and, after some initial pushback, seems to have settled very nicely in his new place. At a time when everything seemed to be falling apart, I feel very lucky that I was able to find this place.

Bloom at German Church is a PHENOMENAL place to call home!!!! My dad recently became a resident and from our first encounter during the initial meeting and assessment, my father was welcomed into the Bloom family and has more than thrived since being there. The staff are dedicated to providing the best care possible and it’s obvious they all enjoy what they do. The overall facility is gorgeous, exceptionally clean and feels like home. The apartments are welcoming and provide an ideal setup for our senior loved ones. The residents all appear to enjoy living there as well as participating in the plethora of activities that are made available. There isn’t enough room to convey how impressed and above all grateful we are for Bloom at German Church. My family’s only regret is my father didn’t move there sooner.

This issue is about far more than a billing dispute. It is about the complete lack of communication and accountability from Bloom's ownership and administration. For weeks, I have been attempting to get clarification regarding my mother's contract and the refund we believe is owed. Despite repeated phone calls and emails, Scott and the leadership team have made no effort to contact me directly. There have been no returned calls, no meaningful responses, and no attempt to explain their position regarding the contract. What makes this even more concerning is that Bloom was able to respond almost immediately to my public review, yet somehow could not find the time to pick up the phone and speak with me directly. If the facility can monitor and respond to online reviews, it can certainly return a family's phone call regarding a serious financial matter. Rather than treating this as an opportunity to communicate with a concerned family member, Bloom appears more focused on viewing criticism as an attack on its reputation. This is not a public attack. It is the direct result of repeated attempts to resolve concerns privately being ignored. When phone calls go unanswered, emails receive no response, and leadership refuses to communicate, families are often left with no other option but to share their experiences publicly. A public response is not a substitute for direct communication. Families deserve transparency, professionalism, and honest answers when legitimate concerns are raised. Instead, I was repeatedly ignored while being told that attempts had been made to contact me, despite having no record of any phone calls, voicemails, emails, or messages. Had Bloom spent the same amount of effort addressing our concerns privately as they did managing their online reputation, this situation could have been resolved long ago. The continued refusal to communicate only raises more questions and demonstrates a troubling disregard for the families who trust them with their loved ones' care.

What a wonderful facility and staff! My mother currently lives there, and I have been so impressed with everyone there. The building is clean, the food is good, the nurses are caring and attentive. It doesn’t matter what time I go, it is always the same. A very pleasant place. More importantly, the residents that live there are happy to be there. That says a lot. I feel grateful that she is in such a good place. I can sleep at night knowing that she’s safe and sound and well cared for. There aren’t enough words to express my appreciation for everything the staff, the entire staff, dofor my mom there At Bloom.
