Twenty apartments are in a secured memory care unit. We offer a variety of services to help with everyday activities of living.

I want to start by saying that this facility is by far the best I’ve visited. Michelle has gone above and beyond to help me, and guide me with all my Grandma’s transitioning. They truly care about their relationship with the elders that are staying here. From gardening, which I personally love, to all the other activities and events they have going on here, there’s not a moment of boredom. I’ve been in visiting and toured, and everyone seems so happy, and comfortable. I finally got my Grandma here, and her whole disposition has changed for the good. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. We are all happy to be apart of the community here. I know Lake Placid is small but if you’re searching, look no more. Bedrock Southern Life is the best. Go in and ask for Michelle, she truly cares and is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of Assisted Living.

Marcline Louis Michel is a very hard worker, the best there is, she is a dedicated , caring and loving person. She's always available to help in the facility either night or day time. Her commitment to excellence is truly inspiring, her attention to detail and passion for what she does make all the difference.

I recently toured this facility with Michele, who was both kind and informative. It’s clear they have been actively working on improvements to create a more welcoming and comfortable space for residents. Choosing a care home for a loved one is a significant and emotional decision, and I'm relieved I took the tour. I highly recommend contacting Michele for her genuine care and support during this challenging process.

What a lovely family location!! I was looking for a place for my mom and dad and after visiting Southern Life Assisting Living and speaking with Michele Postell, I realized this is the perfect facility for them. Michele was extremely helpful, caring and concern about my unique situation. She assisted me with getting all of the forms needed to enroll my mom. In addition, she continue to work with me so that when my dad leave Rehab he will join my mom at the facility. I don't know what I would have done without the help of Michele. Thanks Michele for being so patient and caring during this difficult time.
