This place is absolutely fantastic!!! My Mom has been living at this facility for approx a year and a half and it was the best decision that we ever made. There are so many positives, I don’t know where to begin. First and foremost, the other clients are all women. The two ladies that are directors, Maria and Normalyn are such a blessing. The activities that they plan for the clients are just amazing, they take them out on “field trips” and although my Mom suffers from such a terrible disease, Alzheimer’s, my Mom is still able to live and enjoy life! The ladies at Sonata (Boynton Beach Memory Care) care for those ladies, like they would care for their own Mothers; I can sleep at night knowing that my Mom is being well taken care of. It was truly a terrible thing when my Mother was diagnosed with this awful disease, but it is not the end of her life, it is the beginning of a new fantastic life, just managed a different way. I will always be eternally grateful for these people.

Best decision we have made. Mom is living again. When mom arrived at Sonata, she had all but given up. Within a few days, we noticed a big change for the better. Now that she's "HOME" all she can do is talk about the great staff, food, programs, new friends, fun, her beautiful room, cleanliness and being happy. Mom has gone from sad and lonely to happy and full of life. Our family thanks the ENTIRE STAFF at Sonata for giving mom a much deserved second chance at life. She is thriving. BTW, I'm the overprotective son, I'm there regularly and get to see all the residents and interaction between them and the staff. I'm quite impressed. Mom gets up and out for the day at 7am excited to head out to a new day of quality living. We haven't seen her this happy and full of life in quite some time. Without a doubt, this is the best place for mom to live out and enjoy her golden years. Thank You Sonata Staff Bob Mancuso

So thankful that the all women’s building was available for my mother., it’s a very good fit. The women residence look after each other and really try to help. Maria keeps them very busy and very engaged and there’s lots of music which my mother loves. Maria and Hope always seem to know when my mother needs a little extra attention. Edwin and his team are also very special they take time out to say hello to my mother and she loves them . She was afraid of The maintenance crew at her last place, but here she thinks they are her special friends Because they are always kind.

When I first arrived at Sonata Boynton Beach to move Mom in from another ALF that had gone downhill, as so many do when they change hands, I was so pleased to find a community of kindness with a lovely physical environment, too, both inside and out. And now, three months later, I’m inspired to write because it is such a relief to visit with Mom each day on FaceTime when I’m not there in person, and to see that she’s a happy camper. She’s had few complaints — the occasional gruff aide, the occasional disappointing meal, the occasional disruption from fellow residents expressing their distress publicly — but every day she has something positive to say. She tells me how “very caring” the staff is both to her and to her peers; how the residents are so very kind and attentive to one another; and how so many of the meals are delightful. So kudos to management, nursing staff and aides, and to the chef.
